Isaiah, age 10, cracked me up this morning. He is a pretty silent
kid when it comes to using words. His autism makes speech a
little difficult and makes him seem like he doesn't know as much as he
does. I am not convinced in the least that he is as
genuinely "Mentally Retarded" as the doctors say he is. Still, he
doesn't say too much with words very often, and usually uses one to
three word sentences.
But not today! This morning I was ranting and raving to him
and his twin about not making mess after mess and he sat there on his
dad's recliner with a little grin on his face -- completely unaffected
by my outraged state of mind -- and said clear as a
bell: "Mom needs some medicine to calm her down!"
I couldn't do anything but laugh. It was great.

Stopped in our tracks by words from our kiddos... don't you love/hate that? Great picture of the boys by the way!
