It's not Friday, but whatever. Here's how we've been doing a little vocab at our house: On the big white-board in the kitchen, about once a week, a picture appears. The kids are always quick to find out what the mice are up to this time. It looks something like this:



Rarely do I bother with too much discussion of the word at hand. They seem to get the idea. The younger ones still need it read to them, but they mostly just enjoy the pictures. When I get enough of these to make it worthwhile, I'll assemble them into a file for sharing with other homeschoolers.
