However, I just got rid of the dino dial-up (WOOHOO), so I'm now able to access a lot more information. Here's what has resulted: Added a bazillion news feeds from all over the world to my RSS reader. Discovered a smorgasbord of interesting and weird things. Started a YahooGroup for brainstorming blogging ideas, where I (or anyone else) can post links to a wide variety of news topics. (ChristianBloggersHitList is found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CBHL/, for anyone interested.) Having great fun sorting through all the amazing news stories out there. For instance, this week, I found one on how classical music causes climate change. The solution involved cow manure. Now that's how to tickle my funny bone. Also, a series from News.com on young cyberpunks (and I use the word "punk" in its most unintelligent sense) and how they get caught. And, of course, we're greatly enjoying being able to bribe the kids to do their schoolwork with classic Looney Tunes clips on YouTube. ![]() ------------------ © Copyright Cathi-Lyn Dyck 2005-2008 How Do Faith and Culture Connect for You?9:28 PM - Apr. 13, 2008 - Wild Thoughts {0} - Add to the Wildness

I am going to try an experiment. This is not any real important organization, it's just online organization. I've been doing a lot of restructuring of my web resources. So, to recap, here's where it's at: Unschooling resources: LifeLedLearning.LazyCreek.net Honey Farm, with an emphasis on how-to stuff with honeybees: HoneyFarm.LazyCreek.net Community-Supported Agriculture project: TYDOS.LazyCreek.net (This is our market garden plus biodiesel-powered produce delivery service.) And now, in a stunning climax to one of the most boring posts I've made yet, which everyone has already quit reading by now, I am taking Cindy Rushton's and every other writer's advice and sticking up something with my actual name on it as a bio/writing homepage: CathiLynDyck.blogspot.com I just need to compartmentalize so I can focus. That is one of my weird brain's requirements. There are times when I feel like this blog's space is just too cluttered. I'm duplicating some of the Writishness posts there for starters, but I also want to add fun stuff for doing the literacy thing with your kids. It struck me this morning that I have a little stash of ideas written out somewhere, kind of like a language arts pack-rat. I'll let you know what I find in the lining of the nest. Happy Sunday, everyone!
