After skimming through Crystal's blog, I want to share a tip I use for laundry & ironing.
Schedule days for laundry - We do laundry on Mondays & Thursdays so we don't have piles all over our house all week long.
Fold the laundry while you read aloud - I know several families who do this.
Iron during read aloud time - My daughter likes to read to us, so I
iron (or mend) during this time. If you do all the reading aloud,
then have your kids iron while you read to them.
Any other ideas on the never ending laundry and ironing?

I love my new Laundress in Training Program! M-F morning my children (both girls) take turns sorting out a load of laundry from the baskets and getting it into the washing machine before breakfast. By the time we've eaten and the kitchen is clean the load is ready for the dryer or hanging, etc. Morning routines are done about the same time as the dryer, so they then have a folding party.
All of this is done under my watchful but not obviously hovering eye. With my LTP I don't have to do laundry myself, do very little ironding, and I get to train the girls how to sort/wash/fold laundry properly.
Once I can add in cooking and bathroom cleaning training programs I'll be able to sit around eating bon-bons and painting my toes.
Yeah Right!
