• Feb. 10, 2008 - Forever ago...

Wow, I haven't been on since forever ago! Tons of amazing stuff has been happening in the past few months.  For the longest time after camp I felt completely disconnected from God. Like no matter what I did he was still on the other side of that stinkin brick wall.  Until Open (the winter retreat at my youth group.) last week. Basically God told me to stop daydreaming, get off my butt, and follow the desires he has given me. I'm sure none of you know what I'm talking about, probably wondering what my "desire" is. I've always had a desire to dance. And for the past year I've really felt like that was going to be a part of my personal ministry. The problem was that dance lessons are expensive and most of the dance studios around here are in austin. And thats a long drive to make every week. So my mom was looking in the local paper on friday and saw an article for a dance studio right here in my city. It was so cool because the deadline for signing up was today and I signed up yesterday!  They're every monday night. And I'm pretty sure the teacher is a christian. It's so cool how God worked all this out!  I'm starting with ballet because it's the basics of everything. Thats just one of the few things God has been doing for me, and he's been doing so much through me to. I can't wait to see what he'll do through my dancing. Please pray for me tomorrow I'm so nervous about my first lesson. I need the courage to go in there and be myself, instead of the girl who never talks.  Ciao!

• Nov. 15, 2007 - "We can fly with the wings of eagles oh oh oh"-MuteMath, Peculiar People

Parents...they seem to enjoy convincing you they'd never do something and then change there minds and shock you, and don't forget they always get a kick out of you being shocked. Last sunday my parents and 2 youngest siblings were gone when we got home from church.  We figured they were grocery shopping or something so we didn't really think about it. They were still gone at about 7:30 so I called them and my dad said they were an hour and a half away in La Grange or something. But when I asked them what they were doing he changed the subject and hung up as soon as possible. Yeah I was starting to get suspicious at this point. Anywho they showed up at our house with a little Yorkie puppy.  After always saying that it would be crazy to have 3 dogs! 3 dogs...4 birds...and 8 kids plus 2 parents....crazy!!!!  Yet I love my parents for it! Lol, the puppy is adorable. His name is Chester. We've had our other 2 dogs for almost 4 years, they've always been a duo. And very anti social.  But I think eventually they'll realize he isn't going anywhere and accept him. Hopefully. So anywho thats my surprise for the month.
I get to go swing dancing tonight!  I'm kind of scared because I've never been swing dancing and they only teach you a few steps before they throw you out on the dance floor. Aaaaaaaaaah!!!!  You also have to rotate with partners at the lesson part. The thought of dancing with a bunch of guys I don't even know is pretty scary. Because I don't have a clue what I'm doing so what if I do the wrong thing! I'm hoping it will be one of those things that I'll end up feeling really stupid for being afraid of it. Ciao!

YAY! Shine starts today!!! Shine is the womens conference at our church and I'm excited. My oldest sister Lizi is singing, and leading worship sometimes!!!  The t-shirts are totally sweet! They're a bluish gray color, and they have a red guitar with wings that says Shine through it  on the left side. And then on the back it has a bible verse. But I can't remember what the verse is. Anywho, Shine is gonna rock toe socks!  My moms best friend Peggy and her whole family are coming down this weekend. I was really nervous and not looking forward to it but I feel better about it now. I'm still not exactly excited about them coming, but I'm not dreading it anymore. I prayed about it last sunday and it helped alot!  Oh and we get to go to the beach again next sunday!  I can't believe we're going back so soon. Well anywho I gotta go eat lunch before I pass out. Guess what!!!! I got in a car wreck yesterday!!!  My first one too! Lol, your prolly wondering why I'm so excited about that. We went out to lunch with a few families after coop yesterday. When we were backing out of our parking space I looked back and saw the corner of a huge SUV bumper about to slam into our left back door. My poor little sister Rachel saw it coming before anyone else but she was sitting right next to the door, so she was to scared to say anything, and then BAM!!!!! Our door is kinda crushed. They had a little dent and a few scratches on their bumper. Luckily the people we backed into was a family from our coop that we had just had lunch with. No one was hurt obviously, and the insurance should cover our new door. If not the van is gonna have a nice dent for a long time. I would post a pic of the dent but I can't find the cord I need to upload my pix onto the computer.
Coop was fun though. Somehow for the second time in a row I got the highest score on a test in science. Apparently I'm good at science...until it gets into math. Then I'm done for.  As I said before we went out to lunch with a few families after coop and surprisingly I had a really good time. We went to McDonalds so I didn't eat anything, but it was still fun. I figured I'd sit by all the parents and listen to their conversation but I ended up sitting with Nichole, Victoria, and Andrew. It was amazing I never thought I'd be able to sit at a table with a bunch of people I hardly know and actually feel comfortable, and have fun, (this may sound weird), but especially if one of them is a guy. Sorry, I've never had good experiences with guys. I've never had a guy friend becuz if I talk to them they act like I'm flirting with them. If I don't talk to them they think I'm a snob and they're afraid of me. I get confused cuz I don't want them to think I'm flirting and I like them, but I don't like people thinking I'm a snob...Geez!...*sigh* boys. Sorry I kinda got off subject didn't I...well anywho it was surprisingly fun.
Next weekend my oldest brother and his wife, and my moms best friend Peggy and her whole family are coming to visit for one night. Honestly I'm very nervous about it. I have many different reasons so it would take way to long to post about them all. And this is already really long. So I'mma go now. Ciao!

Life has been pretty crazy. Well I guess depending on how you look at it. On one side this has prolly been one of the most boring months of my entire life. But on the other, it's been crazy and...well its just been CRAZY!  I can't even talk to anyone except for most of my older siblings and Angela about it.  I know it will all come out soon, but it's hard knowing all the stuff I know and not being able to tell anyone. Especially with every thing thats going on.  Other people look at what they can see so differently than what it really is. Cuz they don't even know the tiniest bit of whats really going on.  But in all the confusion I've never been so happy in my life. Cuz I know God is gonna work it out, he already is.   Man I wish I could just type everything out and scream it to the world but I can't. That will have to wait...
Anywho, moving on...last night was a worship night at youth!  It was awesome! I was still mad that Pastor Ben cut us off to go eat pizza when we were really just getting started. I didn't even want pizza! Lol, hmmmmmmmm...I suppose thats all for now.  Ciao!

Yesterday was Are You In, at my youth group. Twas fun. I got 2 of our 3 new Lift T-shirts, and my youth groups first  CD. But the CD skips. I guess a lot of the CD's they made are messed up. I have to trade mine for a different one. Which stinks cuz I wanna listen to the CD now, but listening to the CD just makes me mad, cuz it skips of course. I get to be oober bored for the next 2 and a half days. Woohoo! Go me!!!...not. I have absolutely nothing to do until wednesday night for the umpteenth time. So I don't have much to talk about. I guess Shine, the womens conference at my church, is coming up. I suppose that will be fun. But its not until mid october...lol. O yeah youth group wednesday night is gonna be a worship night. I am very excited about that. We haven't done that in way to long. I asked my sister if there was any way I could get the new CD on here and she said no.  I wish everyone could here all the songs I've been quoting like crazy. O Well I suppose thats all for now. It's not talking about the song. It's putting into words what our hearts cry for.  Atleast it did for me. WOW! I got 12 comments on my last blog. I don't think I've ever had 12 comments on one entry in the history of my blog. Unless I left the entry there for a month. But anywho...this week has been extremely boring. I babysat once and that was it other than church on sunday. How sad is that. I really have nothing interesting to say at all...Well me and my brother and sister are making a spoof on the show How Do I Look. I already hate myself for doing it. I'll prolly post the video on here after we get it done. My poor little brother...he plays the 3 "accomplices" and the hostess...yeah the hostess. That kid is very brave. I play the "fashion victim". And it's sad but that is very brave for me. Dressing up in scary outfits and letting someone record me in them. I'm pretty proud and mad at myself for doing it. Lol, ttyl. Ciao!

Thanx for all the comments on my last entry! As you can see I decided to make a backround of my model pix. I don't absolutely LOVE it but it's the best I can do! I can't beleive I have to wait an entire whole 2 weeks before they come out with the CD! I've had You Speak, and Love Starved stuck in my head for weeks now with no way to listen to them. Unless they do one of them on wednesday night, or sunday morning. But that isn't often enough. Lol. So I discovered on friday after I got home from co-op that I learned something that is pretty smart! I put all this together from reading my notes so it may not be exactly completely right, but it should be at least fairly close (it could be completely off. You never know...)!  I learned that there are 8 kinds of mechanical energies.  All of them are kinetic or potential, there is Nuclear, chemical, solar (light), magnetic, thermal, mechanical, electric, and sound.
There are 3 kinds of chemical energies. Photosynthesis, digestion, and bio energy (bio fuels). A chemical is made up of molecules, molecules are made up of atoms, and atoms are made up of neutrons, protons, and electrons. Smart ain't it, I wrote it all from memory.  Lol, I said "ain't". Anywho, Labor day was a week ago and I still haven't started school! I'm getting impatient. I wanted to do school through out the summer so I could catch up, but with the move and all that stuff it didn't work out. Our house finally looks like we live here, not like we moved in yesterday. It took 2 and a half months but we did it! I love our house!  I finally feel proud to call our house (not a rental house!) my home.  The first house we rented when we moved here was nice. But we were renting so we couldn't make it really feel like home. And we only lived there for a year. Well I'm gonna stop talking about nothingingness, cuz this blog is really long.  Ciao!

I need everyones opinion! Would it be really stuck up and kinda creepy if I made my backround a bunch of my favorite model pix of myself. Would that say "I'm really full of myself and I enjoy looking at my self way to much"? Lol, be honest! I'm trying to think of something different to do with my template. I'm getting sick of the typical just a picture thing.
Last night me and my sister babysat for the O'Donnels home group. We had 19 kids! One with autism. I love those kids though. Me and Hannah have been babysitting for that home group for I think almost a year now.  Like I said I really love those kids! I just realized that last night though. Took me long enough didn't it! Anywho, we also started co-op yesterday. One of the new kids was getting songs stuck in everybody's heads without even noticing he was doing it. He started singing part of My Humps and got that song stuck in my head!! It was terrible!! I shouldn't even know the words to that song! I couldn't believe he started singing that and then told another kid that he was suppose to finish the rest. I really hope Andrew (the kid who supposedly was suppose to sing the rest) hasn't heard that song or I'll have to forever mourn over his lost innocence. But anyway the other kid got that song stuck in my head for the rest of the day. But co-op was fun. I'm definitely glad it started again. Although I didn't get to see Hannah and Julia! That was sad. Anywho, since I'm sure no one reading this even knows what I'm talking about I'm gonna go! But I have one last thing to say.....I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT MY YOUTH GROUPS NEW CD!!!!!!!!! They need to make tracks of there songs so that I can put them on here. It's one thing to read the lyrics that I post all the time, and a whole other thing to actually hear Skip, Pierre, Marie, and my sister Lizi actually singing them. Well Ciao!

• Sep. 2, 2007 - A good weekend to make up for last week!

This weekend was awesome!  We drove down to Galveston on friday, spent the whole day on the beach and watching dolphins from the top of the ferry. My oldest brother Jeremiah and his wife Sarah are visiting from Fort Worth.  Last night (saturday) they rented a speed boat and all the older kids went. It was crazy fun!!!!  I made a slide show of all the pix from this weekend! Pretty scary stuff, lol. I'm gonna post the rest of the lyrics to my header on this entry in a little bit. The lyrics to that song are actually the writing on the wall behind me in my avatar. But right now I gotta go eat dinner and let my sister get on for a while before she strangles me or something. • Aug. 26, 2007 - A terrible week...

I have had a bad bad bad bad bad bad week!!!!! If you read my last entry you know I was sick on tuesday (you can read about how that ruined my day in the entry below this one) , and have spent the whole week trying to recover from it. On friday when I still felt terrible, I discovered that one of my parakeets Lily, was laying an egg.  Well long story short the egg was stuck and she was in a lot of pain. So we took her to the vet and they came up with an estimate of almost $600 dollars to do what needed to be done.  Of course we don't have that kind of money to spend on a bird, since she was gonna die (and be in a lot of pain until she did) if we didn't do anything we were forced to ask how much it was to put her down.  The vet came out and gave us an estimate for how much it would cost to do the "surgery" without putting her to sleep while they got the egg out and such.  It was gonna be about $250. I agreed to pay half of it by using the $135 dollars I had saved up to celebrate my birthday. So they did the surgery and she was fine.
When I got home from church today my mom told me that when they uncovered her crate this morning she was dead. So now I spent $135 on a bird that died, and I'm left with one sad and lonely parakeet Geoffry, who spent the whole time that Lilly was sick in the crate next to him singing to her through the bars to keep her company. My mom said he was singing to her when they found her this morning.
One good thing about today is I got to have my birthday cake and ice cream. But I'm broke for the next who knows how long cuz I couldn't babysit at all this week, and I don't have any babysitting jobs this week. Today is the first day since tuesday that I can eat without feeling extremely sick afterwards, thats really nice.  Alot more bad stuff happened over the week but I can't remember most of it. I guess thats a good thing...So anywho now that I've brightened your day with my oh so happy week, Ciao!

• Aug. 22, 2007 - A lovely early b-day present!...Not!...Warning: This entry may gross you out a little!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was the most miserable day of my life so far!!! Yesterday was suppose to be my busy day for the entire month. I was gonna babysit and make some money, then I was gonna go to Grace Girls and get to see a bunch of people I hadn't seen in forever, and then I was suppose to come home and get all dressed up (in my new dress) to go out to eat at the P.F. Changs downtown with a bunch of girls from my youth group to celebrate a bunch of our birthdays (mine being one of them).  Well instead of doing all that I woke up at 6:30 and threw up. I threw up every 30 minutes until 12, of course by the third time I threw up there was nothing left to throw up in my stomach. That was the most painful thing I've ever gone through! Then I threw up 3 or 4 more times after that. I finally threw up the last time at 5 pm! I didn't get to eat even one bite of food until 10 o'clock at night when I got to eat 2 crackers.  Mmmmmmmm...yum! The little bit of water and sprite I drank during the day didn't stay down of course. So anywho, a lot of people have been getting this bug, some not as bad as others.
I haven't thrown up today yet, although from what everyone else has said it's a 48 hour thing, hopefully it wont be for me! My stomach muscles are killing me. If I start to throw up today like I did yesterday I'll have a six pack tomorrow! Lol, but I think I'll be fine.  I just hope no one else in my family gets it. I'd feel so bad!  I couldn't get hugs from any of them yesterday...that was sad!  I didn't want them anywhere near me though cuz I do not want them to catch it.  Well that's basically all I have to talk about, sorry if I just totally grossed you out. • Aug. 14, 2007 - I don't want just a memory, give me forever.-Renee Olstead, A Love That Will Last

Ok so I finally got a comment on my last entry so now I gotta post another...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...OH!!! Last night I saw Hairspray! It was pretty good.  Probably the stupidest thing I've ever seen but it was funny.  And it had a good little moral to the story.  Lol, I'm so glad that plastic hair went out of style.  Thats just gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So anywho, I went to go see it with my sisters Lizi, and Hannah.  And two girls from youth group, Terease, and Angela.  After the movie we went to Caffe Panini! YUM!  And then we took Terease home and me and Hannah had to go to vocal practice with Lizi.  So yesterday was fun.  I really wanna go shopping. Like ooberly bad!!!!  For my b-day I'm gonna go to the outlet mall with Ally and Skye and go shopping crazy!!!!  I've saved up eighty bucks so far for it, and I'm babysitting a bunch throughout the rest of the month.  I'll have at the very least $200 to spend!! WOOHOO!  But I have to wait another few weeks before I get to go do that. which stinks cuz I wanna go shopping now!!!!!  But I just have to keep telling myself, it will all pay off...it will all pay off...I'm also going to get my second ear peircing.  I've wanted to for a long time but I haven't actually ever done it.  So I decided I would for my b-day this year. So anywho, Ciao!

• Aug. 5, 2007 - I see a generation rising up to take their place, with selfless faith.-Hillsong, Hosana

I just got back last night from Elevate 7 summer camp with my youth group, Lift. It's so exciting!  Lift is finally a family!  Camp was amazing...so cool!  The last night is when God made Lift a family.  It was so cool, they had us get in our teams and pray for each other, which was amazing! Then after the teams broke up everyone just went around on their own praying, and crying and holding, and loving each other.  I have no idea how many hugs I've given and received in the past 6 days.  Or how many times I've said I love you, or had someone say it to me.  And I haven't even been with my family.  It's incredible.  There was so much crazy koolness I can't begin to describe it all.  Like one night I couldn't stop crying in worship from loneliness, and the next night I was crying becuz of how much everyone loved me, and how much everyone saw of who I really am.  Everyone who prayed for me said something in their prayer about them seeing God in my eyes and how every time I smile they see Gods love flowing through me.  It was so cool cuz thats one of the things I want people to think about me. But this time people weren't just thinking it, they were actually saying it to me.  One night during pre-service prayer God gave me a vision of his army.  But I'll write all about that in my next entry.  Right now I'm so tired I don't know what to do with myself. I just want it to be tonight so I can go to bed early and wake up feeling better tomorrow.  It's crazy, I am now officially in highschool!  Next wednesday is my first week at Lift, I am no longer a student at Lift J-hi.  I'm a leader at j-hi now.  I got to see my Lift family again this morning and it was amazing how much everyone was showing their love for each other.  Mikey has been praying for Lift to become a family, and he's been preaching about it, but now it's actually happened.  Lift j-hi and Lift are a combined family. We love God, and we love others.  And thats what Shoreline is all about.  Lol, I sound like an advertisment. So anywho, I'll post more laters!  And some pix to.  Ciao!

YAY!  Elevate is finally here!  I'm so excited!  Yesterday I went and bought a bunch of camp clothes for Elevate.  God has been so amazing with me!  I babysat so much in the past few months that I was able to save up the $250 for camp.  I was able to save up $300 for a camera and I ended up finding a really nice camera for 100 bucks cheaper than it usually is.  And after buying my carrying case and a 2 gig memory card I still had around $60 dollars left over to buy clothes for Elevate.  I also had enough to go get highlights in my hair for $60.  And I was able to put $60 into my Italy savings yesterday.  Like I said, God has been amazing!  So anywho, we leave for camp today, and we get back on saturday.  So please keep me and all of the Lift family in your prayers.  Ciao!

• Jul. 28, 2007 - "I've found love beyond all reason."-Hillsong, The Time Has Come

I saw Transformers on monday!  It was really good.  Of course it would have been better without the tulsa spelled backwards.  But it's hollywood, what do you expect!  Anywho, last night I got my hair cut the rest of the way.  She cut my bangs wrong so I haven't decided if I like the haircut, if I love it, or if I absolutely despise and hate it.  I dunno which it is, it's definitely different than any of the haircuts I've gotten before.  I'm going to get my highlights done on monday.  So I'll have them done for Elevate!  YAY!  Oh, and I found out what my teams theme is.  But I don't know if I'm aloud to tell yet.  O well, I'll wait till after Elevate.  So I got new songs from radio blog club.  This time I made sure they all worked before I put them on. 
Last night we went to the HousePark to play hide and seek with a bunch of people from church.  By the time I got there after babysitting they were playing sardines.  I only got to play a few rounds cuz I was so late.  But it was still fun.  We didn't get home until 1am.  And I had to take a shower cuz I knew I'd never get to sleep all swetty and icky like that.  So I didn't get to sleep until at least 2.  And then I had to get up at about 9 this morning to say goodbye to Caleb and Peggy.  They're friends of ours that were visiting from tulsa.  Peggy is my moms best friend and basically a second mom to me.  I'm really tired.  I babysat 13 kids last night by myself.  Then I went and played hide and seek and sardines until 1am.  And then had to get up to early for not falling asleep until 2.  But hey! Elevate is in tre (three) days!  I'm not complaining!!!!!!!  Wow this is my  longest post of me just talking since forever ago!!   Ok well I'll post pix of my hair after I get the highlights...well and a camera.  Lol, Ciao!

    I'm so excited about Elevate!!!!  My older siblings are at a meeting right now to figure out who there on teams with.  So I'm gonna get to know before any of the other students who's on what teams.  Alli asked for me and her to be on a team together and Marie said she'd see what she can do.  That would be so awesome if we actually ended up being on a team together!!  Elevate is gonna rock toesocks!!!!!  I can't wait.  It's going to be the highlight of my year. 
    The swimming party was canceled cuz of the rain.  *Sarcastically* Big shocker there...it's been raining so much this summer.  I don't think it's even made it up to 100 degrees yet and it's almost august.  But hey I'm not complaining.  I love it!  Well thats all for now!  Ciao!

    Hey all!  Sorry that once again I haven't posted in a while.  Every time I get on here I get bored way to quickly.  I don't know why exactly but I do.  I still don't have much to talk about.  I suppose the TAG event is something.  Tomorrow is the TAG swim party.  I really hate swimming parties but Andria and Alyssa are gonna be there so I'm gonna go.  And I get to babysit two of the most adorable girls ever before the party.  I square I'll post pics of Hannah and Julia as soon as we get our computers back up.  We still haven't got there yet.  It's crazy! we moved in almost a month ago and we still aren't anywhere near close to being settled.  But I suppose we'll get there eventually.  Well thats all for now!  Ciao!

    Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  I didn't know the last time that I posted that the internet was gonna go off that day so I didn't warn anybody.  And I still wont be able to get on that much for a while cuz I have to use my moms laptop.  So anywho, We've moved into our new house!!  We still have oodles of unpacking to do.  I want ot get my room done but I still don't have anywhere to put half my stuff. It's weird though cuz we've had half of our stuff in storage for a year.  So now that we're finally getting it back I'm kind of remembering all this stuff that I use to have.  Anyway, last thursday we had a bunch of people come over and help us move.  It was fun.  one of the families we hadn't seen in over a year.  It was really cool that even after a year of hardly taking to them they still came to help us out as soon as we asked.  Well I don't have much to post about other than those few things.  O wait!!!  I just remembered.....ELEVATE!   WOOHOO!   It's going to be so totally pawesomes!!!!!!!  Rachel (Ninjirate), and Ari are coming.  And I'm sighing up on sunday cuz I saved up enough.  The camp is $249.  So all I know is that that camp food and water better be better than last year or I'm gonna demand some of my money back.  At the camp Elevate was at last year, the water was nasty and the food ...well I don't even know what half of it was.  Except for that one breakfast where we had Hot Pockets but that was still creepy.  My little brother Micah might bring one of his friends but we don't know for sure yet.  Cuz his family might be going on vacation that week.  So, Elevate is gonna !!ROCK!!, and I'm very excited.  Ciao!

    Ok so I got a pic of me for my avy.  You guys must think I'm so punk/emo.  But trust me I'm so not close!  The closest you can get to describing my style is prep.  It's just more fun to model for sad pix like that.  So anywho, my poor little brother wants on this computer.  I hogged the one downstairs for hours, and then when I finally got off to let him on,  the compy messed up.  It says that some wire or something is diconnected.  And me being the computer wiz I am have no idea what in the world to do.  So I'm gonna let him get on this computer to play.  And now that I have told all what you were dying to here so badly, I shall go.  Ciao!

    Hi all!  I'm so sorry I haven't posted in so long.  I've just been sitting around my house all bored cuz I can't have a life until after we move into our new house.  We close on monday!!!  WOOHOO!  I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!  Our house is so amazing.  It's big and brand new, and the kitchen is so big!!  Man I'm listening to Pump It by Black Eyed Peas and I had totally forgotten how bad this song is.  Why does some of the best music have to be so wrong?!!  Haha!!  Elephunk Theme, I love this song.  Anywho, so exciting things.....hmmmmm.  Well actually there's a lots!  My Grandmommy is visiting us right now.  She leaves friday of next week :(, We close on our house this monday and we get to move in over the next couple of weeks.  Peggy who's like a second mommy to me is coming on the 22nd of July. Elevate 7 is July 31st through Aug. 4, I'm so extremely excited about that! And I start dance in August!  So there's a lot to look forward to this year, but all I can do for the next few days is sit around and wait for it all to happen.  *sigh* To much waiting.  Well I think thats all I have to post about so Ciao!

    As of last tuesday I'm a free teen for the first time in my life!!  WOOHOO!  Actually it doesn't feel all that amazing yet.  But thats just cuz I haven't had the chance to start commiting to anything yet.  Like you all know I'm gonna start taking piano, and I'm gonna try to volunteer (possibly work.) at a dog bording place not to far from our house.  I don't have anything to blog about.  O yes I do!!!!  Kyle and Christen's wedding was yesterday.  That was the sweetest wedding I've ever been to.  It was small and simple.  I got to dress up all fancy, but the recption wasn't very fun for me cuz I had cramps and couldn't dance.  I ended up leaving early with Ben, so I didn't get to see Kyle and Christen leave.  It was sad.  I wanted to dance so bad but I couldn't.  O well, Pastor Ben is getting married to, hopefully I'll be able to dance at that reception.  That dancing is gonna be insane cuz I'm sure Pastor Ben and his fiance are gonna invite at least half of the highschool youth group.  That's gonna be insanely fun!  Well I'm gonna redecorate my blog.  I'm bored with it.  Ciao!

    I'm really tired so I don't feel like filling this thingamajigy out at the moment.  I'm in La Joya TX again and I'm bored in La Joya...again.  But after this next week I'm a free teenager for the first time in my life!!!!!  Ever since a month before my 13th b-day last year my schedule has been dependant on what other people schedule for me.  But in less than 2 weeks I'll be able to have a more regular schedule.  I'm going to be able to plan things a month in advance with no question as to whether or not I'll actually be able to do what I planned to.  I'll be able to make commitments to more than one thing all year.  Ok so all this prolly sounds exctremely confusing to you, so I'll go back to August of 06 to start...

    In August last year one of the youth leaders at our church suggested my family to an organization that goes into the public schools and does character building and drug prevention assemblys.  The founders of the organization, Trey and Brenda Sherman contacted us about joining their team.  Me and 4 of my older siblings went to meet and talk to them about there vision and what commitments we would be making if we joined.  Me and my older brother and sister (Lizi, and Roo)joined the team and signed a one year contract that went until august 1st of this year.  All year I've been traveling all over TX speaking and acting in front of 100's of 1000's of kids in the public schools.  It's been amazing but I'm beyond ready for it all to be over.  I've been stretched so far and I've learned to hate my "comfort zone" and throw it away.  I'm looking forward to deticating this year to my music, dancing, and my youth group.  So while most people were planning their "new begining" last holiday season, I'm getting excited about my new year in May.  You may be wondering why I've only got one more week left of being commited when I signed a contract that went through until august 1st.  But Trey has decided to end the year early and cancel everything he had scheduled for the next 3 months that are left.  So anywho, I'm very excited.  Ciao!

    • Apr. 24, 2007 - Haircut! Haircut!

    Last night I got my hair cut!  We went to Wal-Mart of all places!  We were just leaving when I glanced over at the salon and saw a little girl who was just getting her hair finished.  It looked really cute so I said something to my mom about it.  She asked me if I wanted to go get my hair cut and after thinking for a while i decided to do it.  It worked out perfectly cuz my little sister Rachel was with us and she needed to get her hair cut too.  So anywho, I got my hair cut and it looks really cute.  I'll post pix as soon as I get some good ones.  

    I don't know if I ever posted about it but I'm in a play this friday.  I have two singing solo's.  I guess I'm excited a little.   I was kinda backed into doing the play, and the play is scary.  I'm not kidding!  If you heard the music and the jokes you would have nightmares for the next 25 years of your life.  I'm gonna invite Mikey to come see me though.  I was gonna invite him sunday at church but I forgot.  So I gotta invite him tomorrow night at church.  Well I'm gonna go eat macaroni, so Ciao!

    • Apr. 17, 2007 - Babysittin'

    Ciao Peoples!  Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  I'm back from La Joya and I'm now babysitting, but all the kids are asleep. I was bored waiting for their parents to get home so I figured I would post since I hadn't in a while.  I might go get my haircut tomorrow, it's very likely.  And I get to see Andrea.  YAY!  I miss Andrea.  I was so excited cuz I got to go to co-op this week but now I don't cuz someone booked assemblys for RLC on thursday and friday (co-op is on friday).  So now I get to miss the last rehearsal before the play I'm in the next week.  Wonderouseful ain't it...HA! not. Owg! I just smashed my finger trying to get to the keyboard. 

    Anywho, so Amy's (the lady that I'm babysitting fors) mom just got here with one of Amy's nephews.  Amy said something about there Gramdma coming to spend the night but I was a little confused about it cuz she said something about it right before she left.  But Amy's mom kinda can't leave to take me home becuz Amy's nephew is only like 6 or something, and no one would be here with the kids.  So I'm still waiting on Amy and David to get home...*sign* I'm extremely tired.  And guess what!  I have to get up at 3:30 on thursday, and 4:30 on Friday...*sign again*.  Welp I guess thats pretty much all for now.  Ttyl all!  Ciao!

    I'm in La Joya TX right now and I'm extremely bored...extremely. I'm on a trip with RLC and I have been since monday. The assembly's are fun but afterwards nobody will do anything so it's just boring. I wanna go swimming really bad but I have to have someone go with me, and Lizi is being a lazy bum and wont come. She doesn't even have to get in the pool she just has to sit there. She was talking like she was gonna come but now she's decided not to. *sign*...older siblings...*sign*...so bored...so anywho. I'm so sore all over. My kneck hurts, me legs hurt, my feet hurt, and my arms hurt. Tons of stuff has happened in the past few days but none of it has really been good so I wont go through all that. I really wanna go home, which I get to tomorrow. I can't wait to be done with RLC. It's been cool and lotsa fun, and it's definitly been good for me. But I'm beyond ready to be free of the commitment. Just 4 and a 1/2 more months, but school is gonna be out soon so we won't being doing much anyway. I know I'm complaining alot, I'm just not to happy at the moment. Every thing I've planned on that I'm actually looking forward to hasn't happened becuz I have to go do something else that I didn't want to do. I'm getting really sick of it. But on the bright side I'm suppose to go get my hair cut next week, and possibly get thick bleach blonde highlights. My mom knows I wanna do it but I don't know if I'll be able to this time becuz I don't know if my mom will wanna spend the money on it right now. But who knows if I'll actually even get my hair cut next week. My mom does that all the time. She tells me we can do something and then we can't do it for one reason or another. I know she hates that she has to do that so often but with so many kids it's hard. So as you can tell I'm being very optimistic...haha! yeah right. Like I said I'm not to happy right now.     Dude it is so stinkin loud!!!!!!  My brothers Ben and Roo have two guys from our youthgroup over to "jam" (<-haha!  I said jam....).  Roo and Tyler play the guitar, Ben plays the base, and Balter plays the drums.  They've been over here for about an hour and a half.  But like I said, it's really loud.   Oooooo!  Cool they're playing The Way I Feel by 12 Stones now.  Sweet!
    Anywho, today my mom woke me up by telling me that I was going to the outlet mall with Izzy (BrokenRose).  So after we picked Izzy and Abby up at their house we went to look at the house we're building,  I can't wait until we move!!!!!!!  So anyway, then we went to Taco Bell, and then the outlet mall.  We went to rue21 first where I got a shirt, a headband, and a belt that go together.  Then we went to Starbucks and I got an Izzy soda, Sparkling Pomegranate, YUM!  Then we went to Papaya and I got a green polka dot t-shirt hoodie thing, which I'm wearing now.  And then we went over to IKEA.  That place is so awesome!  Me and Izzy decided that when we're roommates in Italy, our apartment is gonna look like an IKEA catalog.  And it works cuz we both like the same kinda stuff for interior design.  Our apartment is gonna be so awesome!  So that was my day.  YAY now someone is playing Solution by....well I don't know who does that song but I like that song!  Ciao!

    • Apr. 4, 2007 - Easter!

    I can't wait until Easter!  On Easter morning we're gonna get up at 2:00 in the morning so that we can be out of the house by 3:00 (thats not what I'm excited about).  We're gonna drive down to Galveston and watch the sunrise on the beach (thats what I'm excited about).  We're gonna be at the beach all day, and then we'll get back late that night.  WOOHOO!  It may just be the gulf of Mexico but it's the only beach I've ever seen so I'm happy!   We're suppose to be going with RLC to California this Spring.  Then I'll see the beach's that everyone is always talking about.  But for now Galveston is good enough for me.  I want peoples opinions on my new backround.  I can't quite decide if I like it or not.  I like my new avatar.  The stupid compy finally let me change it.  That's not one of my favorite pix of me in that hat but it works for now.  Well, ciao!

    • Apr. 3, 2007 - Hair mouse!

    All along I've been using straightening hair mouse, when it turns out that the curling mouse that has been in the cabinet under the sink for who knows how long works perfectly.  It calms my hair down so I don't look like a puff ball.  And it works really well for straightening.  Who woulda thunk!  It doesn't work for curling, but it works for straightening *sign*.   Anyway, my hair hasn't looked this good since I was born so I'm very excited.  I know, I have problems...it's true. 
    Anywho, I realized that I never post anything about God on here.  I always post about normal day to day nothingness that doesn't really matter.  So I've decided I'm going to revolve around God more.  The past few weeks I've been feeling so guilty becuz at summer camp I remember standing up and yelling that I wouldn't back down for anything.  And here I've been all year breaking my promise.  I hated even thinking about it becuz I just felt so guilty.  After reading Songwriters post's I've finally decided to start fighting, I'm so sick of sitting here watching the battle rage on around me.  This time I'm gonna be right in the middle of it. 
    I feel like posting some verses from my absolute fav Psalm ever!  So here 'tis.

    Psalm 18:
    20-24 God made my life complete
          when I placed all the pieces before him.
       When I got my act together,
          he gave me a fresh start.

    • Mar. 31, 2007 - Laughing at nothingness, so much fun....

    I'm pretty much bored, but I'm loving it!  It's nice to be home so much after last week.  We leave week after next for The Valley, TX.  I don't really know where that is but it's gonna be a trip like last week.  We leave on monday and get back on friday night.  I'll try to use Lyle (my brothers Mac) to get on here but I don't know if I'll have time.  I can't wait to do more assembly's, WOOHOO!  Anywho, I don't have much to say at all.
    Yesterday I had co-op.  It was fun.  Me, my brother Micah, and Josh (one of Micah's friends) were all sitting in the Science class room waiting on Mrs. Condit (she was atleast 10 mins. late!) and Micah or Josh would just start cracking up randomly.  It was so weird.  So we'de all laugh about nothing for a while, then we'de finally stop until someone else started laughing about nothing.  It was fun!  Micah and Josh rock!  Then me and Josh decided to trade iPod's for a couple minutes, but Micah felt left out so I let him use Josh's cuz he uses Eskro all the time.  That was pretty much the highlight of my week.  Lol, exciting huh!  Ciao!

    • Mar. 27, 2007 - It's been forever!

    Man!  I haven't been on in forever again!  Lol, sorry.  I was in Del Rio TX all week doing four school assemblys a day for 4 days straight.  It may sound easy to you, but trust me it isn't.  I pretty much thought I was gonna fall over by Friday.  My feet hurt, I was tired cuz Trey would never start bible study until 11:00 and we had to be up by 6:30 if we wanted to eat breakfast.  But it was so much fun!  I never EVER thought tons of little kids would be sorrounding me with pictures for me to autograph!  Anywho, it was cool.  I have so many stories to tell but there are so many, and they're hard to explain in a blog entry. 

    So I was just looking over some pix from the missions trip I went on to Saltillo Mexico, and it is so weird!  My hair is really short, I had to wear these shirts that were ten times to big, and a skirt that was just plain hideouse, and another skirt that clashed terribly with the shirt.  Of course I wasn't wearing the two skirts at the same time but....well you get it.  I also had to wear tennis shoes, with a skirt!! looking back now I think, "AHHHHHH!!!!!!  NOT STYLISH!  NOT FASHIONABLE!!!!!  AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"  I love fashion, I did then too but I had to wear that stuff cuz it was all I had that followed the dress code.  But still EWWWWWWWW!  Anywho, besides all of that.  I MISS Saltillo!!!!  I wish I could go again next year.  Maybe I could.  I doubt it though.  My mom doesn't want me crossing the border into Mexico cuz of all the stuff going on over there.  Plus we aren't a part of that church anymore.  But I don't know that that would really matter.  But then again Root is going next year with her dad so maybe I could go with them.  That would be so sweet!  Plus this time I wouldn't be pushed so overwhelmingly far out of my comfort zone after doing RLC this whole year.  Sorry, I'm just day dreaming...hoping...anywho now that I've bored you long enough, Ciao!  I'll post more laters!

    • Mar. 12, 2007 - Our house is almost done!

    Yay!  I'm so excited!  Our house is gonna be done in 2 days!!!!!!!!  At first it wasn't suppose to be done until late june, early july, then it was suppose to be done begining of may.  But it's gonna be done this wednesday, isn't that crazy!  Our house is chaos now cuz we're packing, and painting, and cleaning and all that good stuff you do before you move.  Our rent isn't up in this house until june so we have plenty of time to do the floors in our new house, and paint and stuff.  Well that's pretty much all that has gone on lately.  Lol, this is gonna be a boring week.  I have pretty much nothing to do.  But my parents anniversary dinner is tomorrow.  Yeahya!  I can't wait, I haven't cooked in so long I miss it.  But I'm still gonna despise working in that kitchen.  Ooooooo, the Roo has summoned me!  He has figured out more of my song, sweeeeeeeet.  He figured out the music for the chorus last night.  I guess he has figured out more!  WOOHOO!

    Ps: The Shermans are all ok, but of course they still need prayer.  I haven't heard anything since whenever I posted last.  I'm just so glad it wasn't as bad as it was when my moms best friends kids got in a wreck.  That was really bad.  Anywho, thanx for the prayers!  Ciao!

    I posted my first song that I actually like on my DessertRose blog.  I'll post more later but I really g2g!  Ciao!

    It is now a couple days later and I'm just now posting.  Lol, ain't it brilliant. Anywho, I was babysitting my wee brothers and sisters and my mom called.  Guess what!  Trey's wife and they're 3 kids got in a car wreck.  From what Josh said the car had flipped over.  Josh didnt know the condition of anybody who was in the wreck so all we could do was pray for them to be ok. 
    Lizi called a minute ago to tell us she had heard from Josh and nobody was seriously injured or anything.  We still don't know how bad they are but we know it's nothing seriouse and thats good enough.  So anywho please keep them in your prayers.  These people are amazing.  Trey and his wife Brenda are the ones who founded Real Life Communications and they've reached so many kids over the past seven years through it.  I'm just so glad I get to be a part of it.  I'm still mad that I'm gonna miss Center becuz of RLC but whatever.  It's part of the commitment I made...*sigh*.  Please pray for the Sherman's!  This year has already been really hard for them financially, this was the last thing they needed.  Thanx for your prayers!  Ciao!

    I just found out that we have something scheduled with RLC in the middle of Center!  Center is the 23-25 of march.  We have an assembly on that friday (the 23rd) but that isn't a big problem cuz we could drive out to wherever Center is gonna be.  But on saturday!  Nope, that would be a waste of time.  I've been saving up for Center ever since they first announced it 2 or 3 months ago.  And I just signed up for it sunday!  ARGH!  This is just plain annoying.  I need to go hit something...or someone *evil smile*.  No I'll just hit something.  Maybe I'll get The Megree to go play tennis with me.  I have to get The Megree cuz I had to fire Rachel last night.  Half the time we were out there she was dancing around all creepily, and whenever she actually hit the ball she hit it so hard there was no possible way for me to hit it back.  Anyway, I'm just really mad that I might have to miss Center.  I know I really need this.  The devil has been throwing so many lies at me lately and it's getting really hard.  I thought Center would be good becuz I would be surrounded by other people worshipping and stuff.  It's just so much easier to get closer to God, and to block out the devil in that atmosphere.  But I guess if I don't get to go God has some reason for it.  *sign*...

    • Mar. 5, 2007 - "Tuesday is apple sauce day"-Chip Skylark

    I haven't posted on here in a few days.  Huh, weird.  Anywho, yesterday was pretty much the only exciting day this week so I shall post about yesterday.   So we went to church of course, and Mikey decided to use me as an example in his sermon.  He was talking about how he is here to teach us how to be ministers.  First he used some other kid as an example by saying he is a minister when he goes to band practice and plays his clarinet.  And then he points out me and says that I'm a minister when I go out on the road and do my dramas and wear my mad hats (My nickname on the team is "Emily Mad Hatter).  So everybody was looking at me.  It was awkward.  I was pretty much ready to kill him, but I could never kill Mikey.  So anywho, after church I signed up for Center!  YAY!  Then I went out with Jess (a youth leader at church), my sisters Lizi and Hannah, and 2 other girls in the youth group, Sky, and Claire.  We went to Wendys for lunch where Claire told us about how she makes the ketchup at Wendy's from her own tomatoes that she grows on trees and vines.  That was pretty entertaining. Then we went to the outlet mall where I spent $20 that was suppose to go into savings.  It felt good to spend more than $2 dollars at a time.  I've been saving like crazy so I didn't feel terrible that I spent that money.  So anywho then we went to Soccer.  And we watched 8 people play "football" but they were all being pansy's (thats why I put "football") becuz they put all five girls on a team and then the 3 guys on a team.  So half the time the guys would go walking down the feild holding out the ball trying to get the girls to come try and get it but they never did becuz as I said before they were all being Pansy's.  We wanted to go start cheering "P. A. N. S. Y. Carlton is a Pansy!"  And then sometimes we would put Balters name in there to.  But we didn't know the other guys name, and we were all to much of pansy's ourselves to actually go do that.  Incredibly I didn't get hit in the head with a ball!  Not even once!  But thats just becuz I stayed far away from the "football" feild and the futbol feild.  But dude!  Those people who actually played futbol were incredible! 
    After futbol we went to taco bell and then came home. 
    I've had 4 people ask if Sky is my sister!  Cuz we both look quite a bit alike.  And we dress alike, and we act alike.  We're so much like each other its really kinda scary!  It's like she might as well be my twin or something.  But she's really cool.  It's so funny becuz people will ask if we're sisters even when my other siblings are standing right next to me.  But we both got the same shirt, just in different colors at rue21 in the outlet mall so we decided we're both gonna wear them sometime so that people will really think we're sisters.  That should be fun.  Well this is getting long so I'm gonna go.   Rachel want's me to go play tennis with her anyway so I'll comment people later, Ciao!
