Winter Wonderland?
It was pretty tough to get out from the snuggly warmth of my blankets this morning.
Here is the view from my back porch:

More and more, I have been asking my husband why we stay here in Minnesota. He is from Alaska, where it is usually WARMER than it is here. And -- big bonus! -- they pay each resident $1000 per year for just living in Alaska! That would be $9000 EXTRA for our family each year. I can think of plenty of uses for an extra $9000 - can't you?
....what are we doing here??!!

I could go for the extra $$$... With our high tax burden, you'd think Minnesota would have it in the budget to offer somthing like that...
I've got pics up form this morning too- ugh! I'm ready to be done with the white stuff...
Enjoy them,

Apr. 27, 2008 - Let's Trade Places

Our weather here in Califonia has been unseasonably hot. We had temps in the 80's and 90's but we are supposed to return to normal temps in the next few days. Want to trade places? My girls have never been in snow.

I only miss your weather when it is too cold to do anything outside except play in the snow. That doesn't happen too often here in Texas though! I like that Alaskan bonus, but don't think I could do the cold again. Even though I am from the north.

I can't believe all the snow you have.
Wow!
Well, I do hope it melts soon and warm weather will head your way.
I did hear that about Alaska.

Yep, definitely Theresa. Who needs an extra $9,000 a year when you have a friend like her?
Blessings!
