A Lovely Day
We decided to have our family day yesterday instead of today, because yesterday was beautiful, sunny, and 70*, while today is cooler and cloudy.
So yesterday morning we set out for White Memorial.
When we reached it, we drove down several dirt roads and finally reached the trail that led to the board walk (our favorite place). (That person hiding behind Kay is my Grandma who came with us.)
Josiah, Amy, and Kay raced to see who would set foot on the board walk first. I believe that Amy won.
Looking ahead... (Wadda ya think of them weeds?)
I thought that this looked almost like it was taken in the midwest or something.

Looking behind... (That Grandma in front, and Dad and Mom in back.)
Soon we reached a bridge. http://s241.photobucket.com/albums/ff237/BelovedPeace/?action=view¤t=DSCN3683.flv
(Yes, that's a video.)
And guess what?! These are out again!
As are a few tiny leaves. (Impressive, huh?!) ;-)
After walking and walking, we reached yet another bridge.
I love looking at the water, it's so peaceful! :-)
Here's my self portrait... I had sole possession of the camera all day.
Mom looking at the water
Josiah and Kay... being themselves...
Josiah digging in the mud
Here is a picture that I thought was kind of neat. I like the shadows.
Digging in a different spot...
We saw ducks
A beaver
And an eagle, which I didn't get a picture of. (This is a wildlife preserve place.)
The road goes ever ever on...
Heading back...
This next picture is one that a friend of ours (http://grandadventure2.blogspot.com/)
Would probably call "Art", which is his way of saying that it isn't anything inparticular. It's a picture of leaves under water... and it's kind of odd, so I thought that I'd post it.
You're probably wondering why I'd want to post a picture like that on my blog? Well, keep on wondering! :-)
After we got home we went for a bike ride, and that was fun too. All in all it was a very nice day!
