About Me

I'm a christian and a wife and a mother of 2 boys whom we've always homeschooled. We live on 6 acres and Dad works from home. Homeschooling provides us our dream lifestyle. Our philosophy is relaxed, eclectic homeschooling, better known as "If it works do it, if it doesn't work stop doing it." I love to hear about what works for others and I love to share what works for us. Welcome to our adventures!

If I had a blog...
Apr. 10, 2008
A few days of rest?

Well on Tuesday I was planning on getting back into a routine with Tea Time but it turned out to be such a beautiful day Noah and I went for a very long walk with all the of the dogs and puppies.  On the way back Noah began his new rock collection that he painted when he got back.  It was a nice relaxing day enjoying each other and the sunshine.

Wednesday was our regular Mug Up day which was WONDERFUL!!  I was obviously in need of some other Mom time as I was VERY grumpy Mom but the conversation and company turned my spirits around.

Today was a housework day.  I booted everyone outside and got caught up on the bathroom, laundry, the kitchen and floors.  I didn't get to the front entrance or the fire place area window seat where things are piling up quite rapidly.

Tommorow is gym day which I know Josh is really looking forward to as he has missed the last couple due to Lego.

The weather is supposed to be very warm and sunny all weekend so Paul has plans for us all to work on cleaning up around the yard and doing a dump run.

Well that's it for me for now.  I already have supper in the oven so I'm going to have a cup of coffee and knit since everyone else seems to be having their quiet times.

Later everyone.

I kind of thought we would have a tea time today too, but after an intense but productive morning, I think we all lost our motivation. I got to enjoy a cup of tea almost on my own instead:)
Sounds like you are having a productive week and still taking advantage of the wonderful weather. Have an amazing weekend!
