What To Do?

Well, I was going to post a wonderful post with pictures and all but as it turns out my computer has gone postal. Even though it is charged and "on" it does nothing. It sits there with a black screen with the green "on" button lit up. Yet, it makes no noise, it shows no screen. I am very dissapointed. All of my documents, pictures, and music is on that computer! I should have had backup's of everything but I wasn't exactly expecting this to happen. Hopefully it is fixable and I can recover all of my stuff! I miss my stuff! After I scrounge up some money (which is hard to come by with gas so expensive these days!) I will take it and get it fixed. I know this sounds strange but...pray that my stuff can be recovered. I have quite a bit of important stuff on there. 3 years of documents and pictures. ::meep::

So that was my post for the day. I think I'm gonna sit outside for a while....it's gorgeous.

A Tagling....or so I've heard......

What is your name spelled backwards?

Htebaile......you can't really say that.....maybe the t is silent with said backwards and it's said "hebail"......but then it sounds like someone with imperfect english is trying to say something about bailing a male out of the jailhouse....."i'm in the jailhouse....i'm in the jailhouse now...." *clears throat* Sorry.

What did you eat last?

Chicken Tortilla soup and a grilled chicken sandwhich. The soup was delicious and a little spicy. The sandwhich not so great but good enough. And I eat maple syrup on my sausage links....not the patties.

My favorite color(s) is(are) green(yellow). :D

LEF.....it's just missing a T and then it would spell left.....or if my first and middle name were switched it would be ELF....that would be great. But it's not and not that it's not great cause my initials are great even if they are a partial or confused word.

What is your favorite scripture?

James. There's so much wisdom in that book and yet it's so practical. I've read it so many times but I love it every time.

What was the last movie you saw?

In the theater that would be.....hmmm.....I think it was "Definitely, Maybe" or "27 Dresses" or "I Am Legend"......that was the last three.......sorry.......

Do you floss first or brush your teeth!

Ew, brush! I want to open my mouth wide enough to floss with FRESH breath thank you! Bleh.....

What shoe do you put on first?

You know, now that I think about it....I always put on the right shoe first.....huh. But when I try on shoes in the store I always do the left one. That's a little strange. Oh well, I'm just special. :D

Ketchup or mustard?

Ew, gross. I really don't like mustard. And ketchup is only good on a burger or some such thing. I like mayo and honey mustard though.

Who did you talk to last?

Tori on the phone....and my grandmother in person.

What is your favorite season?

Fall and Spring.

What is the weather like outside?

You know, I'm not sure. I haven't been out this morning.

Soup or salad?

Both, I like to have a good crisp, cool ceasar salad and a nice hot bowl of soup.....just about any kind.

This isn't really a question considering the exclamation point at the end. But you got really enthusiastic so I shall answer with just as much enthusiasm. Booth!

What do your pajamas look like?

Usually a pair of rolled up sweat pants and a t-shirt or my fleece pants and a t-shirt. Comfy.

8:42....time for breakfast.

What did you have for breakfast?

Well considering that I just said "time for breakfast" that would imply that I haven't eaten it, correct?

Look left and what do you see?

A dress hanging on the door. I need to wear that it's still got the tags on it.....

How many windows are in your house?

13 I think.

Do you wear glasses contacts or neither?

I wear glasses.

Flip flops or gym shoes?

Flip flops! I wear these baby's out in the good 'ol summertime. Oh, how I love thee my precious flip flop. Okay yeah, I get carried away sometimes. But can you blame me? It's the next best thing to being barefoot!

Favorite place to take a vacation?

The mountains. No doubt about it. I also enjoy the beach though!

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?

Spain, France and Italy. The absolutely amazing thing is that Ben and Toms are actually going there in the Fall (hopefully).....without me!!!!! How could they. Also, Germany, Scotland, and Ireland are places I would like to go.

No Time....I'm Late....I'm Late.....I'm Late, I'm Late, I'm Late.....

Just thought I'd have a little "Alice In Wonderland" fun there....

MY STORY.

Never in my life have I:  Gone skydiving

The one person who can drive me nuts is: Some of the people I work with...::rolls eyes::

My high school is:  Non- existent

When I’m nervous: I can't stop moving, my palms sweat, I get butterflies, and my neck and area around my collar bone turn splotchy red.

The last song I listened to was: "Clumsy"

If I were to get married right now it would be to: The person God wants me to be with.....whom I haven't found yet....

My hair is: Golden brown with tints of red.

When I was 4: I was a baton twirler and I got to wear outfits that were covered in sequins.

Last Christmas: I gave you  my heart and the very next day you gave it awaaaayyy.....oh, sorry.....well yes, last Christmas I got a trip to Disney! :)

I should be: Getting ready to leave.

When I look down I see: the keys of my laptop.

The happiest recent event was: Hm, well yes, I can't think of it really.....I suppose that would be getting my car.

If I were a character on 'Hannah Montana' : I think I might go insane!!!

By this time next year: I have no idea where I'll be......one day at a time....

My current gripe is: Not being able to eat anything cause I was sick all weekend and nothing still sounds good.

I have a hard time understanding: A lot of things in life.

Gotta Love Pearls

I don't know about y'all, but I love the comic strip "Pearls Before Swine". It is so stupid yet that is what makes it completely hilarious. The one in yesterday's paper tickled my funny bone even though it was utterly ridiculous.

 

 

So that is all I have for today. I am going to try to get something up about our New Year's Eve fun......soon I hope.

Christmas Tag

Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Just copy (not forward) this entire email and paste into a new e-mail that you can send. Change all the answers so that they apply to you. Then send this to a whole bunch of people you know, INCLUDING the person who sent it to you... 'Tis the Season to be NICE!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? It depends on how much time I have and the item. Have you ever tried to wrap a spatula in paper? Yeah. That doesn't work so well. :)

2. Real tree or artificial? Real! That's all my family has ever had and I just don't think it'd be the same with a fake one. I love the smell and freshness of a real tree.

3. When do you put up the tree? Usually right after Thanksgiving but we didn't get ours until yesterday (I will have to post the story about this.....it's quite amusing!) so we put it up today!

4. When do you take the tree down? It depends on if we go to Tennessee after Christmas or not.....if we do right after Christmas if we don't then sometime around New Year's.

5. Do you like egg - nog? EEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!

6. Favorite gift recieved as a child? Wow.....that's a tough one......I don't think I have a particilar gift that stands out in my mind.....I just loved being with my family and giving gifts and of course I enjoyed getting them but there wasn't a favorite. :)

7. Do you have a nativity scene? Oh yes, several. :)

8. Hardest person to buy for? My dad. If he wants it he buys it. SO.....we always end up waiting until the last minute to find something, anything to buy him.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I haven't recieved a bad Christmas gift.....yet. lol  

11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail.....who emails Christmas cards?

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Elf, Nester the Long Eared Donkey, Boyfriend For Christmas....just to name a few.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Psh....whenever I get the chance.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not that I can think of. haha

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? All the candy and goodies that we bake at my grandmothers house......bullseye's.....potato candy!!!

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Clear on our tree.....but I love colored lights outside of my grandma's house.

17. Favorite Christmas song? I love, love, love Christmas music! I can't think of a Christmas song that I don't enjoy. I do so love the song "Born To Die" though. :)

18. Travel for Christmas or stay at home? We stay home but we go to my grandparents both of which live 10 and 25 minutes away so that's not really travelling. :)

 
19: Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen, Rudolph......oh my, that's sad.......

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Presents on Christmas Eve at Grandma's.....and sometimes presents at our house on Christmas Eve....with presents from "Santa" (ha!) on Christmas morning.

So I found this on LiveForEternity's (?) blog.....I think it was hers....anywho I've been working on it for several days. I don't have the energy to write anything else of interest at the time so this will have to suffice. Enjoy!

1. What's the silliest thing you have done in the past year? I do silly stuff every day.....i can't think of anything particularly special.......

2. Make up a sentence of words that start with your initials: Let Everyone Fabricate.

3. What is the coolest thing that's happened to you in the past week? My official promotion at work! YAY! It's very exciting!

4. What is your favorite kind of Ice Cream? This question should be illegeal or something.....but if I had to pick I'd say chocolate chip cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, or cookies and cream.

5. Sum up your personality in five words: Bubbly, fun-loving, easy-going, optimistic, and hardworking

6. Do you like to dress formal or casual? Casual most of the way....I like jeans and a t-shirt with flip flops or sperry's......I also like to dress formal though if I get the chance.....

7. It's a lovely warm and sunny day in May, what would you spend it doing if you could do anything you wanted? I would spend it in the mountains of Tennessee hiking trails, splashing around in creeks, and enjoying the company of good friends and family. :)

8. Favorite State (Of the USA)? Georgia, Georiga, Georgia on my mind..... :) But Tennessee is in my heart too! :)

9. Have you ever been out of the country? Nope, but boy do I want to go to Europe and Africa

10. Do you like to dance? Do ducks have webbed feet?

11. Who is your favorite person to dance with? My 4-H friends!

12. Who could you not be payed to dance with? Um, I can think of several people.

13. Have you ever cried during a movie? Hmm....not that I can remember

15. Do you wear sunglasses? When I can find them. They tend to get lost or broken.....I just lost my favorite pair and at the store I bought them at of all things! I was none too happy!

17. Are jeans the best thing since sliced bread? No but they sure do come close!

18. If someone pointed a gun at you would you be scared? If they pointed it at me no....if they shot it at me then yes. :P

20. Who's your best friend? Maegan and Amelia are my besties but I have tons of close friends. Ashley and I have become great friends too so I would have to include her.

21. Are they the best friend anyone has ever had? Well, I would like to say so but you can meet them and tell me!

22. On a range of 1-10, 1 being the most introvert and 10 being the most extrovert, where would you rank? 6 or 7 around people i don't know.....9 around people i do know.

23. Have you ever cried in public? Yes, and it's utterly embarassing.

24. Have you ever been seriously injured? No thank the Lord!

25. Do you like hiking? Yes, I love hiking! Hiking is so much fun! :)

26. Do you think that it's hard for people to get to know you? Hmmm......they have to get past my shyness first and then I'm pretty open.

My Life = Busy

Wow y'all it has been way too long since I posted. As you can probably guess I have been really busy. I have been named lead at my job (which is right under the manager basically) so that means a lot of hours. But I am loving it. :) Enjoy these few random pictures I've put together.

I just thought you'd like to know what I looked like when I was....well little....idk why I thought you might like to know....but now you do. Don't I look happy? :)

 

Here is one of me about 4 or so years later.......those roses are as big as I am......I was in baton so I got to wear really sequin-y outfits....

Yeah we completely skipped the next 14 years or so of my life.....but that's okay. This is my dad and me at Disney at the end of December.

This is my mom and me taken at the same time as the picture above...well not at the same exact time....but you get my point.

This is my cousin and me at Thanksgiving just a couple of weeks ago. Isn't she adorable?

 

Well that is all the random photos I have for now. I will have more up later. I might even post some pictures of our new baby ducklings next. Yes, we have ducks! :)
