The last 2 days have seen much farm work done and no *school*. I was pondering yesterday all that still needs to be done *right now*. And made a tactical decision. I am ending school this year earlier than planned.

We have been feeling our way around on switching over to a year round schedule that fits farm life. I chose to NOT take a baby break or spring break, though I had calculated both in while setting this past years calendar so lack of education is not an issue. All I am really knocking off is one math chapter for each of the boys.

I intend to continue history as we can .... likely in the heat of the afternoons. Bible will continue. But other than that.... finish the current math chapters & last few pages in our reading books and STOP.

We will start up again in July. I am already working on our plans and schedules. One switch I am making next year is to not *predate* my lesson plans. I will set a set number of weeks and label them by week... week 1, week 2, etc and we will work our way through.

I do plan to continue working with Molly as she is ready to really advance at this point and dh has asked me to start Caleb sometime this summer. But for now... except for those little bits.... "School's out!"
