Anyone see the Aug 16 episode of Law & Order:SVU? 

Here's my letter to NBC:

I've just watched the episode with the psychotic homeschool mom.  Was this an intentional attack on homeschooling, or did you just not do any research?  I realize some unbalanced people choose homeschooling as a cover for control and isolation, but this episode presented such as the norm for homeschoolers.  As such, it was not only misleading and demeaning, but shows poor quality research on the part of the shows writers.

If gays, or blacks, or vegetarians, or muslims were portrayed in such a stereotypical, insulting way, they episode would have never made it past your censors.  Why this?

I'm interested in your response.  (By the way, not all homeschoolers are Christians, or religious, as you imply.
