As you might have noticed from a previous blog entry, I am looking into ways to make a little pocket change from home. Well I have been offered a chance to share information about a site on my little blog.....
It is for DanForthDiamond.com. They have a wide variety of jewelry (diamond jewelry, wedding bands, etc.), a money-back guarantee, AND free shipping (even for Alaska....I always notice that sort of thing)!! Lots of pretty things, and some romantic tips for our fellows, LOL. So feel free to check them out if this interests you.
How did my ad blogging come about? Well, it was sponsered by www.bloggingads.com, where you can make money with your blog. On a extra positive note: they only accept family rated ads!!
As for us, it was a Girl Scout day (did I mention Anna is a Daisy Scout now?). We visited the fire station. Lots of fun.
Dh is home with us today and tomorrow (I didn't know about tomorrow until today, what a nice surprise). So my blogging will be back Monday. Hope you all have a GREAT weekend!!!
Ok, I know a few people have seen this (If You Give A Mom A Muffin), but I love the children's books that follow along with this theme (moose a muffin....pig a pancake...mouse a cookie), so I had to share it here as well.
For good measure I thought I would add a picture we took yesterday of a moose that was enjoying breakfast at the end of our driveway.....no muffins for THAT moose. Sorry it is a bit blurry.....the snow was coming down pretty heavy and the camera didn't want to focus very well. But....gives you some idea of how big this fella was.

For those of you who have seen this, have another laugh. For those who haven't, ENJOY!!!
If You Give A Mom A Muffin
If you give a Mom a muffin,
She'll want a cup of coffee to go with it.
She'll pour herself some.
The coffee will get spilled by her three year old.
She'll wipe it up.
Wiping the floor, she will find some dirty socks.
She'll remember she has to do some laundry.
When she puts the laundry in the washer,
She'll trip over some snow boots and bump into the freezer.
Bumping into the freezer will remind her she has to plan dinner for tonight.
She will get out a pound of hamburger.
She will look for her cookbook (101 Things to Make with a Pound of Hamburger).
The cookbook is sitting under a pile of mail.
She will see the phone bill which is due tomorrow.
She will look for her checkbook.
The checkbook is in her purse that is being dumped out by her two year old.
She'll smell something funny.
She'll change the two year old.
While she is changing the two year old the phone will ring.
Her four year old will answer it and hang up.
She remembers that she wants to phone a friend to come for coffee on Friday.
Thinking of coffee will remind her that she was going to have a cup.
She will pour herself some.
And chances are......
If she has a cup of coffee......
Her kids will have eaten the muffin that went with it.
