My 100th entry!
I finally made it to my 100th entry! Booyah! *does a little jig* lol. I've also been here for a year now. September something I think. Well, how was everyone's Thanksgiving? Mine was good! Most of my relatives came over (there was nine of us all together). It was pretty sweet since we don't get together very often.
Now, where shall I start? So many things have been happening! I guess I'll start.....back....in....Sep....tem...ber...! haha. September 29th!! A very fun day indeed. Once again it was time for our annual fall gathering at the farm. My dad made is chili, my grandma made her apple slices, mostacciolli, and a few other things and everyone else brought a dish to pass. Someone brought these awesome bagels and I couldn't stuffing my mouth full of them. lol. My aunt and my cousin were also able to make it this year too! It's always fun to see them! =D =D =D I was still in my crutches and recovering from the surgery at this point. But I had gotten used to them so walking wasn't that hard on the uneven ground. It was actually kinda fun to swing on those things. lol. So later my friend Kiza comes and we're all like "Hey, what's up?" cause we haven't seen each other in awhile. He's had crutches before so he was nice and helped me with my two fake legs. Unlike some kids in orchestra who steal them and/or make them too short or long! Ugh. But anyway, me and Kiza decided we were hungry so we set off for the table of food. I had another bagel. haha. So we sat on a couple of hay bales just talking while my cousin and his sister were playing with the kittens. Soon he asked me if I wanted to go the Homecoming dance with him. Homecoming is a dance held at schools at the beginning of the year. I replied "Sure!" so we went as friends to the dance. Luckily I was able to ditch the crutches and burn them into ashes and dispose of my walking boot by the time of the dance. You what that means? I WAS A NORMAL WALKING PERSON!!!!! HOOORRAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!!! lol! The dance was on October 6th. Whew, the same day as my IMEA tryouts. I will tell all in my next entry as I think this one is long enough. Mwuaha, I'm off to go help my dad set up the Christmas tree. Yesh, we got it yesterday. Absolutely exciting is it not?

Happy Thanksgiving folks!
Hey everyone! Gee, I think the last time I posted it was still warm out. *cough*august*cough* AH! I've never been this bad before! Sorry everyone. I shall tell my adventures some other time *crowd groans* and I know you've heard that before but I'll have my mom put a sticky on my forehead so I won't forget. So, I shall go change the layout of this joint to a more Autumy color. There's still another week of November and really, Fall is still here despite the Christmas commercials. I shall change the colors from this horrid summery blue to something relaxing. Anywho....
Happity Thanksgiving!

YEEEHAW!!! *bouncy bouncy bouncy*
*bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy* lol, yeah, I'm extremely hyper today. No clue why but hey, that's meee! =D =D So I see you guys liked the fanfic! Hooray! That makes me happay! Okay, I gotta stop with the shouting, I'm probably making you all deaf. ............ ............. .......................BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Okay, I'm done. On with blogging.....bahahaha.....
All right, so let's rewind the tape and go all the way back to the begining of the month. August 2nd to be exact. My friend Sage called a little before this asking me if I was going to a special homeschooling event on Aug. 30th. Unfortunately she was going to my favorite amusment park and I can't go because of my cast. So our parents set a date before my surgery so that I can come and stay over. Sounded like a plan to Sage and me! The first night we spent on the computer talking with a friend of mine and after that we watched a movie. Next day we watched another movie called The Holiday with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Jack Black and Kate Winslet. If I ever get back on track with my movie of the week deal I'll do a report on it. But for those reading right now, I recommend it! As crazy as Jack Black can be he is very cute in this movie. hehehe. Anyhow, after that Sage had a ballet lesson (which was very entertaining to watch!). Sage, how long have you been dancing again? Then, on Saturday we called up Nicolette and we went shopping. Or mostly browsing I guess. lol. We basically got lunch spent almost the entire afternoon there and headed out for a movie. We saw Becoming Jane with Ann Hathaway. This movie isn't out on DVD yet but I also recommend this one. It is very much Pride & Predjudice but it was still very enjoyable to watch. Especially with James McAvoy in it playing one of the lead roles as Tom Lefroy. Psst, James McAvoy also played Mr. Tummus in Narnia! I could talk about James all night but back to the sleep over....The three of us headed back to Sage's house (Nicolette was able to stay over too) though I had a laughing fit in the car and everyone agreed not to feed me anymore candy. We stayed up until four in the morning. O__O It was a blast! We took so many insane pictures and videos. They're two videos I would love to show you guys. If I can ever get it on the internet with my slow connection I'll post it. On Sunday Nicolette had to leave (so did I but not until later). Me, Sage and her mom went out to eat after a looong thoughtful proccess on where to go. After that we browsed a few more stores to which I found a purse for $4.00! Went back to Sage's house, watched another movie, spent more time on the computer, and ate pizza before I had to go. It was awesome fun! Can't wait to do it again! =D =D
Now forward onto August 9th! !!!The Dentist Appointment!!! Ack, no! Hide me! I won't go! waaaah.....Yeah, no one likes the dentist but I had a loose baby tooth that needed to come out before the surgery. And you know what? It wasn't that bad. We are trying new dentists since our former one was kinda rude to my parents. So we're on a hunt for someone new and heck, we may have found him on the first try. He was friendly and careful. Though, it turns out I'm missing two teeth in the front and have four baby teeth. Three of them don't have anything behind them. We're discussing options on how to fix my teeth and fix my fangs which are supposed to be one space back. It's hard to explain so I'll have one of my parents to take a pic of my teeth and it'll be easier to picture. Don't worry I'll brush before the pic! lol. Infact, I'll wait until my teeth get cleaned. So they'll be all white and shiny!
Now, fast forward again to.......!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!!!!!.AUGUST 16TH!!!!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!-! This was one tiring day. The doctor who preformed the sugery is about two hours away from us and guess who got picked to be the first case of the day at 7:30 a.m.??? Me! But I had to be there for preparation at 6:30 a.m. Which means I need to leave my house at 4:00 a.m. which also means I needed to be up to take my shower at 3:00 a.m. Joy right? lol. It wasn't so bad for me. My dad had to work the day before which involves alot of driving. The surgery wasn't too bad. I got dressed with the clothes they gave me, they stuck the IV in, asked me a bunch of questions, turned me over to stick me in the leg to put it to sleep (that was the worst part) and I was wheeled off into the surgery room. I was already really tired so I was half asleep when they actually put me out. I woke up at like 10:30 a.m. The fallowing paragraph with quotions is what I was thinking at the time. Enjoy!:
"What? Huh? oooooh, nooo, I wanna go back to sleep...*pouts*" lol. The nurse said I slept like a baby and she's asking what I want to drink and eat. I'm just like "Go away....zzzz.....I wanna....zzz....sl....ee....zzzzz...p...zzzzzzz" Then she makes me take some pain killers and asks if I feel like moving to the chair. I'm thinking "NOOO!! I WANNA SLEEP! SLEEPSLEEPSLEEP! WHY MUST YOU BOTHER ME NOW?!" *she puts me in upright position* "AGH! SHE MOVED ME! ewwww.....i feel sick.....no I don't want anymore crackers.....I hate those little crackers......no I don't ant ginger ale either......ewww.....die soda! die crackers!" *she didn't wait very long until she just moved me over to the chair and didn't take no for an answer* "I hate this chair....i'm dizzy.....I wan't....to...sleep! Does no one understant? huh? oh they're my parents......zzzzzz.....no, no food! no, I don't want to move again...." *drags me into a wheel chair* "AGH! I'VE BEEN MOVED AGAIN! AAGGGH!!" *wheels me to the car and a man passes while smiling merrily at me* "Why are you smiling?! Grrrr....." *gets into car laying down with a pillow under my foot and a puke bucket ready at the floor* "Finally, I can sleep...." *car begins to move* "Huh?! It moves?! No! nonononononononono!!! Get me out! I can feel my stomach.....eww....lurching..." *car stops and parents order some food. the smell drifts to the back seat. my throat gags at the smell and my nose closes while I squirm with a low growl* "Why must they eat? do they have no consideration for my stomach? I feel so sick....so dizzy....ugh, that cheese burger!! *growls* I'm gonna....gonna.....gon....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"
Hahaha. Those of you who have had surgery before you know coming out of it is no fun. My experiance was good. All the nurses and doctors were nice and pleasent. I just get really crabby when I'm tired. Well, I think this post is long enough. I'll post more of the fanfic somewhere here!

Fanfic-CHAPTER ONE & CHAPTER TWO
Hey all! *waves enthusiastically* lol. I've decided I'm feeling quite hyper at the moment. No idea what brought it one though. *shrugs* Anyway, I have a dentist story to tell you and of course the sleep over with my friend Sage but I am feeling considerably lazy at the moment and I won't have time to post it tomorrow. Wednesday is probably a no too. And defitnetaly not Thursday. I'll post about all those things and the surgery after the 16th because I'll have all the time in the world then! But right now I have something for you all to read! Yes, exciting isn't it?! About a year ago I met up with this girl on the internet who loves POTC as much as I do. We started Rping (Role Playing) and after about a year we have posted A LOT. My RP partner has decided to make a Fanfic out of what we posted. If you combine all of it together we probably have about 200 chapters. I was blown away by that too. We've been posting the Fanfic is various places but some sort of problem keeps popping up. And we've also received a few comments saying what we've written together is complete crap. I wanted to post a few chapters on here to see what you guys think. =) The begining is somewhat boring but it will spice up along the way. If you think back to the first POTC movie you'll vaguely remember the character Lt. Gillette. I'll have you know he has become a big main character in this Fanfic! Exciting is it not?! hehehe. So I shall post the first chapter now and please, give me and my friend your honest opinions! =D =D =D
CHAPTER ONE
The waves of the Caribbean Sea splashed against the hull of a shadowy ship as it sailed towards port under the bright stars. From her position at the rail of the Victorine, Captain Sylvia Phoenix could see the dark mass of island that was Tortuga. Home sweet home, she thought to herself, idly tapping her turquoise ring on the top rail. Of course, her only true home was aboard her ship, but a little trip to land every now and then couldn't hurt, could it? Tortuga had the best rum in the Spanish Main, anyway.
Some minutes later, when they were getting into the shallows, she gave the order to drop anchor. It was lowered, and before long they were moored in the bay. When the gangplank was lowered and Sylvia had disembarked, it took her a moment to get her land legs. A month or two at sea does that to you. Leaving the rest of the crew to whatever they were doing, Sylvia sauntered off down the drunk-filled street with her slight swagger. From behind her a crew member called,
"Captain! You'll be at the Two Hornpipes?"
"Aye," she yelled back, and continued on her way without stopping or turning. Partway down the street someone stumbled into her and drunkenly shoved a half-empty bottle of rum into her hands, which she gladly took and swilled from without the least care about where it had been.
Sylvia was still drinking when she came to the Two Hornpipes, definitely the craziest pub in the whole of the island. As usual, she was met with a melee of intoxicated partying. Instead of joining in, as she usually did, Sylvia took a seat at a small table in a dark corner. From here she had a good view of everything, particularly the door...
I'll post chapter two to keep you guys intrigued...
CHAPTER TWO
Sylvia watched everyone who entered the building with a cautious eye. As she was downing another draught of rum from her fresh bottle, the door opened once more, and a shady character came in. Sylvia lowered the bottle and watched as the person, apparently a woman, discreetly made their way to a corner table on the other side of the room. A matron of the T.H. who wasn't drunk as a skunk? Weird. Then Sylvia realized that the woman's eyes were on her.
Two ideas came to mind. One: she's just looking at me because that's what people do. Two: they sent her after me.
Sylvia reached in her vest to make sure the drawstring pouch she had hidden there was safe. It was, of course, but she couldn't be too careful.
Then she remembered the other reason they'd made port in Tortuga. The ship was understaffed. Islanders were always eager to hitch a free ride from here to there. While she was here, there could be no hurt in picking up some new recruits. Could there?
Sylvia reached under the striped sash around her waist and drew out the sign of parchment paper she'd had her cartographer throw together. It read:
Able Seamen Wanted
for service aboard the Trade Ship
H.M.S. Victorine
To leave Port for the Ivory Coast
In two Days' Time.
Interested see Captain Tremaston
Aboard ship 30th October
She'd been very specific that the word "Pirate" was to be replaced with "Trade" and that her first name be left out. No one ever wanted to serve under a female captain, rare though they were. And of course they weren't really going to the Ivory Coast. Nope, they were headed for open sea. But no one would know that until they couldn't exactly quit their job anymore.
Sylvia took this to the wall near the door and tacked it up. She didn't want to make a spectacle of herself for the suspicious-looking woman, but there was little else she could do.
When she turned around, the woman was gone. |

Happy Birthday Mom!
Happy Birthday Mom!
Hope you have a great day!

Well, I suppose it's time I entertained you guys with a monthly post isn't it? lol! As you can see I've *finally* changed my layout. The other was one was boring my eyes to tears!!!! Agh! The picture above was actually taken in the parking lot of our nearest JCPenny store. I cropped off the bottom half and cloned out the light poles and viola (is that how you spell it? cause it looks like the instrument to me), it's a beautiful sky picture. I even added a painter graphic to it so it looks even a little more interesting than the actual thing. Cool huh?
And now I must, must, must thank Sharla for giving me the blogger reflection award! Thanks so much! I've even thought up an idea of my own for awards. I'm not going to tell anyone yet.....mwuahaha.
Okay, I need to share the most recent news from my last doctor vist! Otherwise known.....*dundadunda!
Ankle Update!
We drove all the way into Chicago to see an ankle specialist. He took some more X-rays and looked at the ones with brought with us as well. He said it's a rather large bone chip and instead of fixing (meaning screws) it like the other doctor suggested we should just take it out. He said in my age range he's found that fixing it doesn't work well. He also said the same thing as the other guy, there really isn't anything else we should do because we've already tried it! So after some consideration we decided to go with taking the bone chip out. The hopeful goal of this is to rid of the pain and to be able to flex my ankle once again. If this first surgery doesn't work then we would move on to something more complicated which invovles opening up my entire ankle. But hopefully it won't go that way! My surgery date is August 16th. A week from tomorrow, gah! I think they said I will be in crutches for about 6-8 weeks. Then therapy starts. <--Joy right? lol.
So that's the news on.....*dundadunda*
Ankle Update!
Bwuah, so I'm savoring each day of walking till I hit the crutches. It would figure too, that my best friend is going to my favorite amusment park this year AND someone is having a potluck with lessons on how to learn CIVIL WAR DANCING!!! Bummed about both of those since now I can't do it. =( Well, I still have orchestra to look forward to. It will be an exciting year too! I start with the high school orchestra on August 24th playing cello and on September 9th I start in the Youth orchestra playing violin. Sound awesome or what?! I have an upcoming audition in October as well so I need to get practicing on that piece. Oh, my cello teacher is helping me find some good music books for the quartet so if we start practicing in September we might be able to get a gig somewhere here soon. =D =D =D Haha, my life is so full of music right now. Atleast a cast won't stop me from that!! BWUAHAAHAHHAhAhAHA! TAKE THAT CAST!!! *continues demented laugh*
I think I'll take off now...
ttfn,
Jill
P.S. tomorrow I will post about the sleep over I had at my friend Sage's house! Okay, maybe not *tomorrow* but sometime soon here!

Computer Crash & and a hospital visit
How's everyone doing?! *walks around with a walker* Now, now don't mind this thing I just.... *trips over someone* Ack, sorry! *sits down* heheheh....ehh....
Anyhows, I'll go sit in the corner again after this post for my absence. Things got somewhat complicated after I last posted on June 14th and I was in a, um, let's say an irritated/annoyed mood about something I wish not to explain over the internet. All I will say is that we lost two horses. We were with them when their last moments came so they were not alone. It was a sad day (it even rained) so my mood did not improve much but in fact sank lower. A short while later (a couple of days) I had to go for orchestra camp which brought my mood up over the week. After I returned another thing plauged me............NO MUSE!!!!! Gosh, you guys ever get the feeling like "I'm gonna go make a post!" then you get two words into it and you have nothing else to say? Lol, I'm just tapping the keys with a blank mind. But I have muse now! Mwwuauauahahahaahaha *hack hack cough cough* Ehem, excuse me, I will explain my coughing in a minute or so but first I will tell of another tragedy. Please scroll down and plug your ears....
OUR COMPUTER CRASHED!! AAARGHYYYBARGYY!! NOOO!!
*sobs* It was a horrible sight! My dad was on the computer one night and the thing shut down. *sniff* No warning, not even a chance to say good bye! *sobs again* We had to take it to the computer guys to be fixed. Good thing we have another computer! We were able to transfer onto our secondary one and use it (I'm on it now). Hoorah! All is pretty good except for our e-mails. Dad was able to get them 'working' so we could check them and stuff but won't have the full thing until we get our other computer back. It's been fixed we just need to pick it up and hook it up then all will be well. *grins* Actually, what's funny is that my friend told me his comp did the same thing and ours crashed like the next day. Hah, wait till I tell him!
Now onto another topic that occured a few days ago. On Monday I got up as normal though I back and neck pain (not to mention some dizziness). For me that can be normal so I shrug it off and make my way around doing chores a little more carefully. While doing chores though I got a sick feeling, like throw up sick. I told mom but we agreed it was probably the heat (it did get really hot and we did a lot stuff the day before). So I stood in front of the big barn fan for awhile and got some water which made things somewhat better. I get in the house and rest for awhile, take a shower and come back down stairs to eat something. But by now I've developed a headache, dizziness and nausea to go along side with the neck and back pain. Mom takes my temperature and guess who has a fever?! Moi! 101.3 or something like that. I took some cherry liquid Tylenol (the stuff tastes disgusting but I can't seem to get a handel on swallowing pills). I felt no better the next morning. Mom took my temperature again and my fever went even higher, 103.2. I stayed inside while mom and dad did the chores and later mom called our doctor. She was starting to suspect it wasn't the flu. Why all the back and neck pain? Our doctor suggested to take me to the emergency room. Ergh, that's the last thing I felt like doing, getting up and going somewhere especially the emergancy room. So we get there, waited for awhile, got checked in and waited in the bed. It was extremely busy when we got there so mom and I were able to understand that the doctor couldn't come right away with a patient that had to be taken out by helicopter. We waited, the check-up doctor came in to ask questions like what am I allergic to? Cefzil I replied. I had already answered this to someone else though. Later a nurse came in saying he would be my personal nurse and would help me with anything I needed. He asked the same question, "Are you allergic to anything?" My reply: Cefzil. Doctor come in quite a few hours later. Listens to my lungs, hears my coughing....He wants a blood test, an IV and chest X-rays. Argybargy, needles. I was in that hospital for six hours (which means I didn't get out until one in the morning). I waited that long with very poor staff tending to me. The guy who said he'd be my personal nurse was constantly on the phone chatting away (only showed up two times to help me). One nurse was crabby and got annoyed because I couldn't swallow pills, another was kinda avoiding us cause she didn't want to do it, the others, well, I really only saw them once and they disappeared. And none seemed to be paying attention to my wrist or looking at the records to see I was allergic to Cefzil! I think almost all of them asked "What are you allergic to?" Ugh, that was annoying. Though the best nurse was the guy who did my X-rays. He was funny and very nice.
So when 1:00 a.m crept up the doctor finally came back. I have pneumonia in my right lung. Just starting, we caught it early. It took like another twenty minutes before we got out because of the perscription of meds I now need and paperwork that needed to be filled out. I'm feeling better today but that's because I'm doped up with drugs to keep my fever down and pain low. That has pretty much been my week! Fun right? *sarcasm*

It's coming....
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in like a decade. Not posting is becoming a habit of mine isn't it? Hmm, I shall have to sit in the corner after this post! lol.
So anyway, been busy, busy, busy with lessons, chores, doctor appointments and such. On Monday I had another doctor appointment for my ankle (with a new guy). This dude looked over all of my X-rays, MRIs and fiddled with my ankle for himself. After being in there for what seemed like two hours he came into the room and drew us a little picture saying what he would do about the loose bone fragment in my ankle. Can you guess? Yeah, surgery. Says it needs to be done or I'm looking at ankle replacment in the furture. *faints* So he showed us how he would drill down into my ankle and try to fill the gap with tissue or some more bone. But if the bone fragment is too loose and they can't fill the gap they would have to open up my ankle entirely and take it out. Either way I'm going to be out of commission for three months with crutches. *gives a sarcastic "yay"* Though before we do anything the doctor we just saw referred us to another specialist to get his opinion as well. Mom made the appointment on July 20 something. It's a good thing dad was able to get off work that day otherwise we would had to of waited until September to see this specialist cause he's so busy. O__O Wow. Ergh.
Okay, away with that topic! *imagines throwing it* Onto a new topic I'd rather discuss.......HAY!!!! We got 1,100 (possibly more) bales of hay off the first cutting today! Madness I tell you. Our hay loft must be stacked to the ceiling already (haven't gone in to look yet). Maybe I'll try to snap a few pictures if I remember. We probably won't do third cutting this year since we got it last year and we still have lots of left overs. And now with first cutting we have more than enough.
Now, what else did I want to discuss? Umm, well I finally got the soundtrack to the movie Amadeus and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Mozart is my favorite composer as I've mentioned in a post many, many months ago. I don't know who my next favorite composer is, maybe Gustav Holst? Handel isn't bad though. I dunno, I'll have to ponder.
Oh yeah, check my icons to the right. I've just added some new ones that I think are quite nice. Yes, yes they will do just fine. *pats little icons* lol.
ttfn,
Pirate Jill
P.S. I've finally started the draft for my Walt Disney World trip. Don't worry all, it's coming despite my slowness. =) |
