I guess that I got the date wrong or something, though I'm sure that I didn't.  When I showed up at the office, they were closed!  What a waste of time, but I prayed that God's will be done at the appointment, so maybe this is part of His talking to me.

I am sorry your appointment did not happen. But I will be praying for you in this situation. I had a c-sec and then 3 v-bacs. What a difference. I used a Doula for my first 2 v-bacs. That was very helpful. I considered a homebirth for my 2nd but, God knew what was best for me. After I delivered my second child my uterus came out with the placenta. Very scary time for everyone in the room. If I were home I probably would have bleed to death. Keep your chin up.
I also know how it is to not be in agreement with your husband on big important things in your life. It is a very trying time. You are in my prayers.
