Apr. 21, 2006 - I had a dream

I dreamed that OreoSouza visited me. I was living in some awesome quirky cabin (!!) somewhere, and she was on a trip and coming near enough to stop, and I convinced her to stay with us a bit. Her whole family! Even in my dream she didn't like to travel, so I was so excited that she was really coming. I don't remember any details other than that we hit it off and it was wonderful. And she wasn't so tall, nor I so short, that it was awkward. LOL.

LOL on the tall/short bit.

This morning, before breakfast even, Jacob got on the computer and read your email...again...for the 10th time...about having Trek stuff you wanted to get rid of and wondering if Jacob was interested in it.

"Wouldn't it be great if they lived in our state and we could just go over there and help Mrs. A declutter and then bring it all home to clutter our house?" he asked with gleeful enthusiasm.

"Are you kidding??" I asked him. "If they lived in this state, you guys would be playing with their kids all the time, and we wouldn't have to bring Mrs. A's clutter home because you could just go over there and immerse yourself in Trek stuff and hang out and talk Trek with Mr. and Mrs. A! I only wish they lived in our state!"

And then you have a dream. Hmmm. I hate traveling. Mr. A has no intentions of moving out our way. How is this going to happen?

Because happen it will.

Apr. 21, 2006 - Oh I have plans

Someday I will come to you. Since I know I can't make you come here.

Actually my SIL's son (my nephew, I guess, but he seems more like dh's nephew) is getting married this summer in Seattle, and my other SIL wanted to take my oldest DD with her to the wedding, which was out of the question BUT I was thinking for a while that I could come with oldest daughter and baby, but my secret plan was to give minimal attention to nephew wedding and skip (up? down? over?) to your place.

But then I thought how sad younger daughter would be to not meet your Jared, and how rude it would be to use nephew's wedding selfishly, so I'm back to square 1: Planning to come to see YOU some day.

If Jacob would kindly invent a real transporter, we'll be on our way.
