We're Under Surveillance ~ ACK!

Yes it's true! We are under the close watch of our friend, Robin *grin* Apparently we're being monitored 24/7 with great scrutiny as to whether or not our plant hanger is going to make good family raising material :) It started this morning when I was cleaning up the breakfast dishes. There was this Robin that would appear every single time I went near the sink which has a window in front of it and is about 6 feet over from the window that has the nest in front of it. At first I thought nothing of it but I realized that it was staring intently on me the entire time and actually coming closer and just staring! When I left it left and when I came back it would come running out from the shrubs again to stare me down *grin* Of course we are still all worried about making the pair uncomfortable causing them to abandon their nest, so there I am ducking and hiding in my own kitchen, washing dishes with my head down, not making eye contact all in the name of Robin Babies! Haha, Dh is going to think I've gone koo koo! Good think he won't be home for a couple of weeks and by then hopefully they've moved in and are more comfortable :) I think I might hang a curtain or sheer over that window to shield our view from the Robin. What do you think? Then we could peek out the sides or something so they feel less threatened? I'll let you know what happens next.

A lace curitan would do the trick I think. Then she would feel more secure but you could still see out. :)

How funny!!! We did the same thing last year and the year before when we had a duck move into our back yard. Hubby didn't mow back there for almost a month!!!

Neat! We have robins nesting in our tree in our front yard every year. It never fails. I try to walk beneath the tree to get to the mailbox, and it gets a little dicey. I always enjoy that they are there, but I hate the fact that they buzz our towers a few weeks out of the year. *lol*
