Video of Baby Robins Being Fed by Mama Robin

I captured a little snippet of Mama Robin feeding her babies today!! I don't have my digital camera card right now so I only had the internal memory to work with so the video is very short *grin* but I looped it so you can see it twice. Still cool even if it's short :)

You can see what I was talking about in an earlier post about the babies being fed larger chunks of worms now. Mama had quite a mouthful when she arrived and then placed it on the side of the nest picking up chunks to be distributed amongst the babies.

Here's a final close up of the babies :)
Robin babies hatch in the same order that their eggs were laid which means that all of the babies were not born on the same day! Can you tell which one is the oldest in the above photo?

*Hint* Look at the pin feathers :)

What a beautiful little capture! Our momma robin was hopping around our yard the other day with her two babies. She was feeding them the worm buffet that was strewn all over since we've had so much rain. They have to love it when the worms come to them. ;')

I love following your nature happenings. Thanks for sharing them.

You have some pretty amazing footage! I can't believe how big those baby mouths are...open and waiting for food! What a neat experience for your family to be able to watch it all. Thanks so much for sharing it!

Oh my they are beautiful!! What a wonderful blessing to experience this so close up.
Absolutely priceless!!!!!

I went to see how our baby birds were coming along yesterday, but mama was there and I didnt want to disturb her as she was taking care of her babies. Hopefully I can see them today and get a couple pictures.
