Spring Break

We are on Spring Break this week, but only because the ps are.  And I babysat Mon-Wed for a military wife whose dh is in Iraq.  Spenser is visiting my aunt in Atlanta, and they are not on break, so i sent some work with him LOL.  But since his arm is in a cast, I gave him a really light load.

I didn't babysit today.  Reed had play practice (she is helping with charlie and the chocolate factory) and I had to meet with a lady about the church directory.  Then Haley came over this afternoon to have preschool with Sydney and Macy.  We are still studying B is for Butterfly.  And then right on cue, tonight 3 of the 5 cocoons "hatched" or whatever you call it.  (Gee I am soooo scientific)  Anyway we now have 3 out of 5 painted lady butterflies.  Sydney and Reed had gone to a sleepover, so Macy got to "feed" them first.  We put a napkin soaked in sugar water, an orange slice and a rose in there.  Probably overkill, but we lost the direction book so I went with what I remembered.

Apparently my aunt took Spenser and her kids to the park today and he caught a salamander.  Eww, he wants to keep it.  He named it Alexander.  So... I guess I need to find out what to do to keep it alive.

Tonight since we only had one child, mom kept her for a little while and Jason and I went to see "16 Blocks."  It was pretty good.  Very interesting, a few surprises, Bruce Willis.  I ♥ Bruce!  I don't like rooting for bad guys and they kinda trick you in to it, but there was an underlying them of change  and so I guess it was ok  (?)  Alot of violence and language though.
