Its Monday and Spring Break is over...

Well we did something new today.
Spenser left his language arts book in Atlanta, so I started teaching
him how to diagram sentences. He thought it was fun. He is
a geek like me I guess. I always loved diagramming. Then we
read 2 chapters of Charlotte's Web and I gave him vocabulary words to
look up and a few questions to answer. I also gave Reed a
journal/writing prompt and a few vocabulary words. Then I let
them design a cover for a CW notebook. Reed did everything but
math. Spenser did science and history. And I gave him a
probability worksheet. They had piano lessons this afternoon so
they didn't finish everything, but it was all in all a productive day. |
