Second Day of School

We had another great day. Really great. We finished by 1:30 and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We did our first lesson in CKEB and the little ones colored the creation page (so did the big ones for that matter) while I read the lesson. We also did our first day of Latin, which we all enjoyed. I think Reed was a little intimidated by it, but I told her it was low key and no stress. Just a fun new thing. They must have liked it -- they want to learn Adeste Fidelis for Christmas to sing at church and Spenser found an English to Latin translator online so he could tell Jason "I love you Dad" in latin. (I love was one of their words today but he didn't know how to do the you or the dad.) Whoever picked this curricula and put together these lesson plans is a genius  |
