10 Random Thoughts about Being a Minister's Wife

I love being involved in worship planning. It is a passion of mine.
In NC, people gave us produce from their gardens. We also usually get leftovers from church socials. And one lady cooked us dressing for christmas that was divine!
Not all preacher's wives can play the piano. Or sing. Or even teach Sunday School. And not all preacher's wives are outgoing. It doesn't mean they are stuck up.
When you leave a church, you aren't just leaving a job. You are leaving your family and friends and your church home. It's really hard.
When your husband has trouble at work, you have no one to talk to, no one to share a prayer request with. Unless you are fortunate enough to have friends outside the church. But who has time for that?
My kids aren't perfect. Please don't hold them to a different standard.
Please tell me your name when you call and leave a message for my husband. I don't have everyones voice memorized, believe it or not.
I don't want to be in the nursery every week. I like to worship too!
I think it makes it easier to be a bold Christian, because people expect it.

01) One who feels the sound of the song should garner an emotional reaction or one who feels the message of the song should garner an intellectual reaction? Definitely emotion. Music is very emotional to me.
02) A person who'll spend $10 to see a blockbuster movie on the big screen now or a person who'll spend $5 to see a blockbuster movie at home when it comes out on pay tv/dvd? Hmmm, I have a movie pass so I like to see it on the big screen. but if I were paying, I would have to wait and see it atthe $1 movie or on dvd.

05) Plastic wrap (the clingy kind) or waxed paper? Press and Seal rocks!
06) Drinking water from a glass or drinking water from a bottle? Bottle
07) Someone who would refuse to do business with a hate-oriented group or someone who would do business with them but hold your nose while doing it? Refuse
08) A believer in freedom of speech or a believer in freedom of association? Speech
