Unusual Anniversary

We had a great day, but I think it might qualify as "Most Unusual Anniversary Celebration Ever."

Jason had play practice tonight and we had no babysitter, so we went to the library and then we went to Chuck E Cheese. The theory was that the kids could play games while we gazed into each others' eyes. Or something like that. Well, of course, someone needed to potty, and someone else neded help with a game... But we did spend a lovely afternoon together as a family.

Now the kids are in bed and we are eating chocolate silk pie. (Yes, Eva its a carb day LOL)

Aug. 28, 2006 - We just had our anniversary on Saturday

This is the first year that we did not go out or do anything special. It felt strange but we were tired and we have been out alot doing special things all year. We did get invited to a friends home for dinner yesterday which is rare for us and that was special. Just knowing that we love each other and we respect each other is enough this time.
