*Deja Vu

Guess where we spent the evening?  In the emergency room.  We went to the theatre to pull some props for the American Girl play, and we had been there all of two minutes when Sydney decided to do a cartwheel on stage.  Except it ended off stage.  And her arm was misshapen-- curved where it shouldn't be.  I didn't think twice-- I knew it was broken and we headed for the ER immediately.  Sure enough, she broke both bones in her forearm.  Poor baby.  She is a tough cookie, though, and was very brave.  Reed, who purports not to like her, was devastated and cried all the way to the hospital.  I was surprised (and secretly pleased that she does in fact love her.)
I will have more to say about the other kids, but I am saving it for Pass the Torch Tuesday.

My friend came and picked up her daughter at the hospital and took my other 3 with her.  She fed them and took them to her square dance class (which they apparently loved.)  She said Spenser was quite a line dancer.  Who knew?

They gave Sydney tylenol with codiene so she slept for a while.

* deja vu because Spenser broke his arm in March.
