The time for owl pellets, that is!  We had our science lab Wednesday and dissected them.  It was so cool.  Spenser was very meticulous about it, while everyone else just sort of smooshed them to see what they had.  He was able to identify everyone's bones for them.  We had several rodent skulls and jawbones and such.

You are braver than me. Even though it's cool....I find it more gross than cool. Imagine the dismay of my parents ... my mom taught biology (and dissected cats, frogs, baby pigs, etc) before she quit to homeschool me and my dad is a conservation officer and is very interested in biology as well. Go figure! I know where I'll send my kids if we ever dissect anything (including owl poop...lol).
