WFMW-- Kool-Aid Mouth

Posted in WFMW

OK we've all been there.  It's time for Christmas pictures and little Suzy has a red ring around her mouth from Kool-Aid or whatever. Guess what! A little dab of toothpaste  on a wet washcloth will remove the Kool-Aid moustache every time!

And here's a bonus recipe for yummy smelling playdoh!

Kool-Aid Play Dough:
----------------------
1 cup flour 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 package unsweetened Kool-Aid 1/4 cup salt
2 tablespoons cream of tartar 1 cup water

Mix flour, salt, cream of tartar and Kool-Aid in a medium pot
Add water and oil. Stir over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes. When
mixture forms a ball in pot, remove. Knead until smooth. Put in
a plastic bag and refrigerate.

Kool-Aid mouth happens at church (the only place my daughter gets any kool-aid). I've always wondered how to get rid of it.

Get out of here! I wish I'd known that sooner. That stuff is stubborn on skin! Thanks for sharing. Oh, and I love kool-aid playdoh. We add glitter to ours too. Smells good and looks neat.

Blessings,
Courtney

Great tip! We like to make playdough but never used koolaid. Does the color come off on your hands?
