OK so tomorrow is Pass the Torch Tuesday,
and the way my week has gone, I am doubting I will have an entry.
But today I offer you the opposite of PTT, whatever that would
be. Like, Hold the Ice Monday, or something. I am reading Ted Tripp's Shepherding a Child's Heart, and I am convicted what a horrible job I have done so far LOL. I mean, I have good kids, but it is just a fluke, apparently. I do everything wrong that he mentions in the first few chapters. So I was asking my kids questions based on what I am reading, and Macy, my 3 year old, came up with this little gem of honesty: I like fighting with my friends because it helps me get what I want from my friends. Out of the mouths of babes for sure. Sigh. |
