Helpful Forums and Groups to Join

During the past years of homeschooling my children I've found a few forums that have provided encouragement just when I needed it.  To be successful at homeschooling I believe you must truly trust your children to learn and that you must trust that God specifically chose you to be their parent.  Whenever someone wise encourages me with this Truth I leave feeling encouraged and ready for the whatever the next day might bring.  May these forums help you in the same way..........

Quetsions about homeschooling in GA

Posted by Titus2mentor at 8:25 PM on Jul. 14, 2008
We are considering moving to GA within the next few years. Can you help us with any of these questions?

1. When a homeschool grows up and starts homeschooling their children is the homeschool diploma recognized as a high school diploma or does that parent have to get a GED?

2. When a 17 year old finishes 12th grade in May but doesn't turn 18 until Dec., does that teen have to homeschool for three more months in the fall to keep their driver's license. Assume this child doesn't want to go to college - does it make a difference if they do?

3. Can a parent administer the standardized test given every three years?

Thank you for any info. you can help us with.
