Here is something I think will bless you

Shalom

Before I give you the site to go to and watch a touching slide show of a fellow homeschooling family.  I want to just share about them since they are good friends of mine.

Randy is the father in the family he has struggled for the past year with many issues with illness but Adonai has bless him and his family.  He has gone through many physical challenges but yet Adonai has blessed his family.  His wife is tired physically but she continues on being wife, mom and friend.  She is one that everyone seems to think is strong but her and I and I know others know that it is the Father that helps keep her going.  Any ways enjoy the slide show it is a blssing and done by a local news paper where we live and it glorifes Adonai :)

WE DID IT AGAIN !!!!!!!!

MICHAEL CLASS OF 2008

GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENT

We have done it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Michael our 2nd child graduated  highschool on June 30, 2008.  His father and I are both very proud of him  and all he has accomplished in his life thus far.

What a blessings it has been to be Michael's parents and also it has been a blessing to been able to homeschool him.

Michael our son has grow into a responsible man and we have learned so much with him on his journey to this point in his lfe.  We watched him grow spiritually, mentally, and physically.

HISTORY

Michael was involved in the Toledo, Ohio Civil Air Patrol  and was in their Color Guard for part of his highschool years.

Michael worked part time on a farm and he volunteered his time helping with Children's Minitries at a church.  Michael has learned to be diligent in all that he does and in his life, he has also learned to be quiet and listen to what others have to say before he speaks.  He has a big heart and loves to help others when they are in need.

Since studying Civics his senior year, Michael has found that his interest is in Criminal Law.   He is not sure if he will be going striaght to college or if he wll be going into the United States Navy to persue his goal.  So, he is planning on taking a year to pray and research his options for persuing a Criminal Law degree.

Update

Shalom to you and thank you for coming to read my blogg.

It has been a while since I have gotten a chance to type up a blogg. So, much has been happening here in our home. So, many blessings and also some attacks by the enemy. But we continue to home school Adonai’s way and not the worlds way.

Let me start at the beginning. So, far we have graduated our 2nd child in our family our son Michael. He is now graduated home school high school. We are now down to one child left to home school. I am excited about this coming year and all the neat things that are to come for us learning.

Also here we have been busy purging yet more things from our lives and packing things up for a move. We have decided to get ourselves ready to move. We need to be out of this house we are renting before it gets cold. We can’t afford the gas to heat it and we are continuing to trust in the Father in what he has for us. We have been discussing getting some land and maybe moving to KY. We are still listening to the Father for his answers in all we have to do. One thing I do know is that He told me to get rid of a lot of things we don’t’ need and get packed and ready to go. For when it is time there will be no time to get it all packed up so I am working on this.

A week ago today my dh and I were on a bike ride on my new tandem bike. My husband turned a bit too sharp on the bike and my foot got caught between the pedal, and the bike. We ended up in the ER to make sure not broke my foot and well Praise the Father I only have a badly bruised and sprained foot and ankle. I have a splint on my foot and using crutches. (giggle) can you imagine a blind gimp roflol

We have also been busy with piano lessons, recitals, enjoying the summer when we can. We have gotten a lot of rain here and also dealing with mosquitos here. But other than that the weather has been great. Also been busy working on getting my business I am working on getting started going.

I am working hard to get it going but also know that it will not be started til after we move from this place but figure can work on it and get it ready to go and then it will be simple to get it all set up. Please keep me in prayer for I am going to be in the home schooling business. As in counseling, writing a book, making some things, helping homeschoolers with transcripts and diplomas. I have this burden in my heart for homeschoolers and am already seeing people coming to me for help and I am trying to do the best that I can and what the Father gives me to help them.

So, much more to share but need to get off here and get a few things done around the house. Many blessings to you and your family. And thank you again for reading my blogg.

Updating the blogg ....

Shalom

I so love homeschooling.  I love the fact that my children go and find things to learn on their own and persue things that interest them without saying I am bored or I can't do it or I am just a kid ect...

Yesterday my daughter spent several hours learning html.  Today she took a couple hours and worked on my blogg.  I am amazed at what she has learned.

So, what do you all think of the new look of the blogg?  Also, we are still working on getting the music back on to it too.  Please leave a comment to let us know what you think of the new look we would love to hear from you.

Its that time of Year again ............

It is that time of year again.  Where the flowers are blooming the trees are getting their buds and things are coming back to life and it is wonderful. Yet us homeschool moms during this time of year also start to worry and stress a bit.  You know about what curriuclum should I purchase for next year, should I go to the homeschool conference this year or save my money, did my child learn enough this past year, if you get assessed or tested will the child do good enough, if you are a mom with a graduating teen it is I hope I have covered everything and gotten the transcript right, I hope that I can do a diploma, what if I messed up this child for life, what if they can't read, what if they can't make it in the world.......

Ok Moms breathe!!!  I have been there with most of that but not all.  I have learned to to first go to the Father (Elohim) and ask him for guideance on each of my children.  I have learned from others how to do things that I didn't know how to do.  My children do learn and still are learning even after graduating homeschool highschool.  We as moms need to learn to trust in the Father in all things including our children.  We need to learn to relax and take it easy and enjoy the spring time  and the time with our children.  Our children will never learn everything there is to learn on this earth but they will learn the things that they need to learn for who they are to become and what they are to do in this life.  The best part is that we have Elohim to help us through this all.

I am now getting ready to graduated my 2nd child from highschool.  I can't believe that the time has come for another to graduate.  I have been busy with his diploma and his transcripts and am being very relaxed with it as in not going to let it get to me  that I need to find all the things that I have logged his info for graduation on or that I can't seem to get him to move on certian things that  he seems to not to enjoy but needs to learn a bit about.   I am just going to enjoy and cherish this moment in time of being a mom to a young man that is getting ready to go out into the world soon.

I have found when my first child left and joined the navy it was hard but it was also a joy.    So, remember enjoy the time you have with the blessings (children) Elohim has given you.  You will be happier if you do and also remember relax and breathe.

Blessings

Long time since wrote here

.Hello to you all.

It has been awhile since I have had the chance to sit here and write.  Our family has been busy with many things.  I have been learning many things with my children.  Right now is the time of year for new things and growth.  The Father is teaching me to trust in him and also teaching me that no matter what happens in my life he is always there with me and will never leave me and that he is the BEST FRIEND  anyone including me could have.

My children are getting older, I am getting older.  My 2nd child which is another son will be graduating highschool this june.  So, I am here worrying about what to do with just one to homeschool.  I know that sounds silly but when you are soo use to having more than one around to homeschool and spend time with it is hard to have just one.  I am trying to figure out what fun things we will be doing and all the free time I will have and what to do with it ... I am going to take most of that free time and gett to Know my Messiah a bit better.  I have really been digging into the word BIG time and finding things that just amaze me and yet I can't share cuz some times we are to keep what Adonai gives us quiet for a time and season and when itis time He will let me know when to share.  For many would be offended by what I have learned and many will be praising him for confirmation.  I am sooo excited to find the truth and find that I am going the right way and going to continue to go that path no matter what anyone says or does.  Sigh.

Just remember no matter what Yeshua is always with you and will never leave you nor forsake you.

SPRING

Spring will be here on Thrusday.  The temp. is getting warmer. PTL for the warm weather.   Now is the time to start thinking of that dreaded spring cleaning.   Well I have started ours here a bit at a time slow and steady wins the race.  Today I worked on my bookself next to my computer desk and got it pretty organized and purged of things no longer needed for our family.  I also went through all the VHS and DVDs we have and logged them so now we know what we have.   I also worked on some of my notebooks that needed some TLC.  I have neglected some of my notebooks and now I have most of them back in order and ready to be worked on again.

My next thing to get done this week is to finish logging the books I own making sure that the ones I have sold are off the list and that the new ones are logged in the notebook.  I have been doing things slow and steady and finding that I am getting more done than I did before.  Plus having a bit of extra time to relax and be with Elohim (God) and spend time just praising him and reading the word more than before.

What a blessing.  Kids are getting older too.   My oldest next month will be 20yrs old.  It is hard to believe he is going to be in his 20s seems like yesterday he was given to me by Adonai and now he is a man and he is doing very well in submarine school.

My 18 yr old son has been helping around the house and talking about what he will do when he graduates highschool, plus we need to get him to the BMV to get his learners permit to start learning to drive.  My 12 yr old daugther has been growing up some too not much playing she now listens to music more, plays music one her guitar and key board and she also does a lot of drawing and writing either on her blogg or in her notebook.  WOW they are now doing a lot of things on their own.

Well it is late so will say blessings for now

A Good Reminder

I got an email through the messianic homeschoolers group and someone emailed this and well I wanted to share it with you all.

Take some time to ponder this:

Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with
$86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening it
deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day.

What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course!!!!

Each of us has such a bank.

It's name is TIME.

Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds.

Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed
to invest to good purpose.

It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft.

Each day it opens a new account for you.

Each night it burns the remains of the day.

If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours.

There is no going back.

There is no drawing against the "tomorrow".

You must live in the present on today's deposits.

Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness,

success and above all love! The clock is running.

Make the most of today, by making sure you are ready for tomorrow.
It's Heaven or Hell the choice is yours.

Who Knew Shakespear could be soo funny.....

Yesterday 3-6-08 My son, daugther, friend of mine, her son and another friends 2 oldest children went to see the play 12th Night by Shakespeare.  We really enjoyed the play.   There were some parts that we laughed so hard that I even cried.  The actors did a wonderful job and it was done like the Shakespearean times did it with out changing the set.  They just moved things around a bit but nothing really got changed.  It was good.  We then went to the Art Museum.

There we went to see a special collection that it had for a time.  My friend and I started to take notes on some of the paintings and sculptures so that we can make up a scavenger hut worksheet.  Yes we are going to have the kids do a scavenger hunt at an art museum.  Makes it even more fun to do.  Also we will have them study one of the artists and give a report in front of a few other homeschoolers.  Three of my friends and I are going to be doing this together and the kids will stand in front of each other .... This will be speech class.

I am abit excited about this and also just continuing to work hard on the things that Adonai ( God) has for me to get done in my house and to prepare for a move for he will be moving us where dont' know and when dont' know only he does and I am learning to put my trust in him more and more and I am also Praising him for the fact that I have more time to sit and read the Word and learn more about him and have time to just sit and listen and praise and pray :)

Thank you for reading and blessings.

GOALS

I have been so busy and yet not so busy working on goals. I first went to my prayer closet and prayed and asked Elohim (God) what to do and what I should work on first.  I waited and listened and tested the answer too.  Sometimes we are in such a hurry to figure out what to do or where to go, that we forget to just be still and slient and just listen to what The Father has for us to do or what he has to say to us.

I finally sat down and started to write down my goals of what I would like to get done for homeschooling, personal, family and spiritual.  Not in that order.  I have accomplished about 5 of the goals on my list cuz I have been slow and steady like my motto right now.  And also just doing a bit at a time each day and not over whelm myself. I would just pick one goal and start to work on that one goal and do things that helped to get that goal accomplished.

I am happy to say this is working and things are getting done and I am finding I have more time to have my quiet time with the Word (bible) and in prayer and praise.  I also find I have more time to spend enjoying life instead of working all the time.  Praise the Fatther for this blessing.

Feb. 9, 2008

Well today I rested and relaxed and enjoyed movies most of the day and stayed warm in my house.  It is cold here.  Been thinking of what to write about have a few things that want to share but wanted to wait til I heard more from my oldest son who  is in submarine school but thought hey I have 2 more here at home. LOL Well here at home front not much but the same old thing.

Except for  the fact that my son Michael who is now 18 yrs old told me he is wanting to persue criminal law and go to college or he may join the navy like his older brother.  He wants to take a year off to decide what he will be persuing and I am soo excited that my son finally has something that he is wanting to persue.  I use to get from him I don't know ... and I would say hun you need to think about your future yeah mom I know but I don't know and now PTL he knows

My daughter is just growing up to be a young lady and learning so many things.  She has been tye dying and writing stroies and also she is now learning how to read music.  She also has started to persue drawing at this time in her life.  I am so empressed with my children and how much they have grown and blossumed into young men and women.  Mind you my 2 that are still home still like to snuggle and get a good book read to them that is one of our joys other than playing games and watching movies together.

My daughter and I can't wait til spring and can go out on our nature walks again and also get back to riding our tandem bike we have (bike built for 2).  We love our nature walks and drawing, but with the cold weather brrr no way are we going out there. giggle so we just bake cookies and do indoor things we can do.

Well that is the update for our house and here is the update about our oldest son Daniel.   He is graduating Basic  Submarine training class this Friday Feb. 15, 2008.  He is at the top of his class and he was asked to be interviewed by the naval league. He is a bit nervous about it.  I asked him why they chose him he said cuz class voted and thought I would represent the navy and them the best. I am so very proud of him.  But also I am proud of all my children and what Adonai (God) has done to get them where they are at.  All I have done is guide them and direct them to the path they are to take but they have to take that path I can't force them to and yet I see that they are bearing fruit and I am soo excited to see what is in store for my 2nd son who graduates this year.  Well it is late and this is a bit longer than most of my posts so.

PROUD MAMA

Well I have been a bit busy with life.  With my children, friends, and also with the house and dealing with the cold.

My oldest son  Daniel has been doing really well in Submarine school..  He has been getting good scores on his tests he takes each week and he is right now averaging over 85% GPA.  And he is one of the top 6 in his class.  Woooo Hoo This mom is so very proud of her son and now knows he had learned how to learn and how to study PTL

He is also enjoying the journey he is taking now and told me that he misses us all but this is where Adonai (God) wants him to be at this time in his life and that he is blessed.

Any ways I just wanted to share the joy I have with one of the three of my children..... Even though all my children are my joy and blessing.

Such Good News

The other day I spoke with my son daniel who is in the United States Navy now. He is in submarine school in Groton, CT.  I spoke to him online for a bit.

He said Mom, I am doing very well here in the classes.  I said really. How well are you doing?  Daniel tells me mom I am 1 of the top 6 in my class and I am making over 85% in my classes.  I am doing very well and passing all of my tests with great grades.

Now most of you don't know this but I don't use curriclum or test my children at all.  So, this confirms for me that I have been doing it the way that Adonai (the Lord) has told me to teach my children and not the way others or the world have told me to do it.  I continue to list to Him for  he knows my children even better than me and I am blessed.  This year is going by so fast and I will be graduating another one in june.  It is hard to believe I am a mom to 2 young men now and one young lady that is only 12 at this time but growin up to a beautiful young lady and also seeking the word.

I am so blessed and thought I would share my blessings.  Have a blessed day
