YOUTH GAME NIGHT On Friday, November 10th at 7:00 p.m., Mark and Ruth Smith will be hosting a game night for PCHEA youth in grades 7th and up. Parents and siblings are also welcome to come and stay the evening. Please bring desserts or finger foods to share with the group. Drinks will be provided. What: Science FairWhen: Thursday, November 30th Time: Set up is at 6:00, and the fair runs from 6:30 till 7:30. Where: Wood Science Building, Room 113 at OBU (This is the building with the greenhouse attached to the south end). Please contact Lori Roberts for more information (phone # in directory) or email at Cameron-warren [at] sbcglobal [dot] net. Lori has a list of students who have already signed up. She needs to know if these students are still participating and if there are any others who have not yet signed up but would like to participate.  
SKATE DAY
When: Monday, November 13th 20th Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Where: Orbit Skate in Prague Cost: $2.00 per child, includes skates

 Now is the time to start planning ahead for the Geography Fair coming on January 23rd. Each participating family will sign up for one country, research it, and present it in whatever way they want: display, dress, food, artifacts, books, games, etc. Countries are reserved on a first come, first serve basis, and Mexico is already taken.

Looking ahead
TeenPact is coming April 16-20, 2007TeenPact, a 4-day Biblical Government/Leadership class, for 13-18 year olds, is coming to the Oklahoma State Capitol! TeenPact not only gives students a hands-on governmental experience, but also is a class in Biblical citizenship and leadership. During the class, your student will experience parliamentary procedure, speeches from elected officials, daily briefings, field experiences, and much more. If your children are between the ages of 8-12, I highly encourage that they attend the One-Day version of TeenPact on April 20, 2007.
