Time for a Diet - Maximum Metabolism

I lost 30 lbs. once in a fairly short amount of time, using this diet:  Maximum Metabolism

So I have decided that I need a plan, and this worked for me.  I'm about to pull it off my shelf, dust it off, and make a grocery list.

Right now I am sick with a cold/flu type of thing.  I'm drinking lots of oregano oil water, and I can feel it helping.  I don't expect to be sick for long at all.  But my arms are heavy and I'm  all sweaty.

As soon as I am feeling better, I'm going to the store to do some shopping, and get right on this diet.  My 50th birthday is this coming January, and it's one of those things, you know?  Losing weight is something I've wanted to do and NOT put the effort into.  My 50th seems a good mile marker goal to really do this weight loss thing.  But I need something that I KNOW works so I don't get discouraged.

Maybe I'll start tomorrow .  Anyhow, I'm not doing sugar at all right now, because I'm sick, and that's such a no-no when you're sick.  I'm planning to make grapefruit one of my main fruits, because it supposedly has these fat burning enzymes.  I bought myself three the other day, and I'm about to go eat a whole one right now.  I love grapefruit.

I hope to keep this blog updated on my weight loss.  I Ibelieve I'd like to lose about 30 lbs.

Good for you!
Will power and water are the number one things to great success. Sounds like you are motivated!

Sorry you're sick. If I did live next door to you, I'd make a pot of chicken soup for you today. : )
I loved reading what my family wrote for their first Thanksgiving entry last night. Samuel wrote, "I am thankful for a warm roof over my head and for a family who loves me." So sweet!
I'll be thinking of you today in prayer.
Hugs,
Julie D.

Nov. 2, 2007 - Put me down for 40...

Posted by InkTraveler

This sounds great. I'm going to check the library to see if they have this book.

I really need to release 40 pounds from life. It's like having a small child on my back everywhere I go.

Thanks for the information, and be blessed!

I'd love to know more about the diet you're planning on following. What you said about wanting to lose weight but not wanting to put in the effort - that's me. I really need so direction. Maybe someday we'll chat about it.

tonight I'm out cyber-caroling:

"We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!"

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
