(Recorded into a Zire 72, later typed up by mom.)
Isaac’s sons went home and they found the money they had to pay for the food. Isaac said to them, “Go back with twice as much money to repay for what you have already gotten and to get more food.” (Because they had a big family.)
But the sons said that they needed to take Benjamin, otherwise they wouldn’t get the food, because that is what the person in charge of all the food in Egypt said to them.
Isaac said “No.” But his sons said they really needed Benjamin or they would probably starve. So Isaac said “Yes” the second time and they left and went to Egypt.
When the person in charge of the food (Joseph) saw them coming he said to the manager of his house to bring them to his house and give them some food. He wants them to eat with him at noon. And so he did.
But the sons of Isaac were afraid. They thought they were going to be slaved [enslaved] because of the money that was sent back with them. |
