I was so happy to read this blog this morning. I was just going through my friends list to check in on a few blogs and this was one of them. I could summarize here but think she spoke so eloquently in her own posting that I couldn't do it justice.

Thanks for your comments and for this post on your blog. I saw that you were online and thought I'd check in. My oldest is currently enjoying Esparanza Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan, which is quite thought-provoking for me during this time of heightened awareness about immigration issues. I thought so much about your comments about different perspectives on what we sometimes see through our narrow and filtered vision as black-and-white. God bless you today.
