Well unbeknownst to me, today seems to be PROJECT DAY!
Already, my 15.5 yo DS has made a trap in hopes of catching the black squirrel (will catch and release.) This started out with my suggestion to make a simple pitfall trap as seen here. But he devised his own plan instead. LOL

Digging the trap

Working on the trap

Looking into the trap

Setting the trap

Trap is ready!

My 9.9 yo DD has collected flowers and leaves within hopping distance from our back patio and put them in her flower press.
Right now, DS is making finger boomerangs. They are so cute! We got the instructions from HERE. He's made a few different sizes. Even taking them a step further with some "customization" work. LOL

But, if you want a studier one, might I suggest these. (Great summer gift!)
And a project for all adults--sign the Breast Cancer Petition.
And here are a few more fun things i gathered up today for possible use with the kiddos:
-
-
-
-
-
iPod/PDA cover (think it would be cute to be a different creature and big enough for a PDA!)
-
plastic clone (when we're feeling really desperate and adventurous)

fun day
Love the projects!
Which flower press do you have? What do you do with the pressed flowers?
