Some Girl Scout things
Our troop is in the middle of Girl Scout cookie sales. Well, our pre-sales are over. Our booth sales are over (sold out the FIRST DAY!) Now we just have to turn our money in from the pre-sales.
Our own Junior Girl Scout has been signed up for a summer camp and she's uber excited about it! We added one more overnight to what she did last year. It was interesting jockeying things around to fit in other summer activities, but she was very insistent (in a nice manner) that Girl Scout camp not be mixed.
This evening I've been going through some old emails. I think it might be time to delete old mails from our old troop in Hawaii.... ya think?? LOL But I did come across some things I'd kept for one reason or another and thought I'd post just some of them here.
I was wondering how your daughter's hsing girl scout troop is run. How often do they meet? Is it a multilevel troop? Any info would be greatly appreciated. When my 9 year old daughter bridges this year, I am looking to start a multilevel homeschool troop. We've been a regular troop meeting weekly for the past 5 years, but now that she is home, I see biweekly co-op possibilities and a nice big "open" Friday night.
