Welcome Home
Mar. 29, 2006 - DONE!

It is FINISHED!  I am OUT of the daycare business!  YAY me!  I sold all of the daycare supplies last weekend and am going to working on making that room and great Game Room for my family.

I have been doing SO WELL with my Discovery Toys business!  I am still looking for new team members nationwide so keep your eyes and ears open.  If you know of anyone looking to make some extra money, I can help them!

Starting April 10, I get to report for Jury Duty!  YAY....or not.  I have 3 children that I have to find childcare for.  Even though my daughter is a Red Cross Certified Babysitter, she is only 11 and I don't feel comfortable leaving her in charge of her brothers all day. I need to find someone to stay with them.  That could get costly!  Have you ever known anyone to get out of jury duty as a homeschool mom?  Let me know!!

Everything is going well.  We are kinda taking it easy right now and only working on Math and English this week.  We will start back on the other things next week.

Keep praying for my family.  Every prayer helps!

Congrats on your newfound freedom. Believe me, I know just how you feel! I did get out of Jury Duty due to homeschooling. I cannot remember at all what I did or said or wrote though, so I am not much help.

Hi, My d-i-l just had her frist Discovery Toys party and of course I went. The toys are well made, a wide variety and colorful -- most were resonably priced but the S&H..! ... that always sinks my ship. I would buy a lot more things if that wasn't so high!
Amy is really enthusastic about it. She did very well in Creative Memories but had to take a sudden break when their adopted baby was born premmie and she was in another city for three month with her. When she returned home the business had pretty much fizzled out. She loved that too but baby came first. I guess it was just for a season. I hope this works out for both of you! Be blessed.

I was random blogging and came across your site. I had to LOL (seriously) at the chicken ~or is it a rooster??~ on your page. I laughed because we just moved into this farmhouse here in KY and there are chickens in my kitchen (like, on the walls, not literally! lol) I tell everyone that the only place I want chickens in on my plate :-) This Yankee isn't much into the farm life but I'm learning to adapt. So, your picture made me ~smile~. Nice to meet you!
