Two weeks ago My pappa John was brought to the emergency room because he fell down unconcious! There was very little hope for him because he had blood on his brain and they could not get it off! Many many people have been praying for him to get better! My mother left to go to TN where he lives to be there with him and his wife! We were getting updates daily saying that he was getting worse! Now they are saying he is doing much better and there is more hope for him! I ask that you please keep him in your prayers! I believe he will get better and make it through this but I need your prayers to help him!

Now I have wonderful new or actually it is not my news but a fellow HSB bloggers! Recently she asked me to pray for her brother JACK because he was sick.
"May I ask you to pray for my brother, Jack? He has lung cancer that is spreading and is in a tremendous amount of pain. It is extremely difficult to see him in such pain. Thank you and God Bless you." She quoted
Tonight she sent me this comment saying.....
"Serena, Thank you for the prayers for my borther, Jack. His pain has diminshed enough where he is able to move around, remembers things day to day, and actually attended a wedding ceremony this past weekend for a friend (it tired him out but at least he was able to go). Praise God! I truely believe the prayers from you and everyone else are being answered. His pain was previously unbearable as I had written you, now he seems like a different person. God Bless you, I keep you and your prayer intentions in my prayers. Kim"
WOW!!!! A testimony! I hope this says something to all of y'all! Your prayers can be answered too! So send them in however you want to! I am waiting!
In a couple of days I will write a post about our back to back prayer nights! The first one so far was AMAZING and full of the Holyspirit!!!!! I can't wait for the next one!!!

Working for the Lord
Yesterday I went to my church and worked for 14 hours! It was very exhausting and I did not want to do it at all! I made a big mistake thinking that way! I was doing that work for the Lord and I wish I would have done it with a better attitude! I was working on improving the looks of the Lord's house and I was complaining about it! We should all want to do work for the Lord and we should not complain about it. I wish I would have thought about this while I was working. My parents reminded me of this while driving on the way home ate 1:00 in the morning and I felt very guilty. I am glad now that I did the work for our God and I would it again in a heartbeat but the next time I will not complain about it and I will work with a better attitude!
HERE is a scripture that tells us he will not forget what we have done!
Hebrews 6:10 says
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Here is some more scripture that goes alng with what I just said...
Colossians 3:23-25
23Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
We should look at these scriptures and think really hard about how we do our work from now on!

These verses are verses many children do not know about. They are very powerful vereses that need to be recited more often. Many children do not have any respect at all anymore for their parents.
Ephesians 6:1-3 says
1Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.2 "Honor your father and mother"- which is the first commandment with a promise- 3 "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."
"Children, obey your parents"
It says right there very clearly how God wants us to treat our parents. It is a commandment, a Law! God is taking this very seriously which children today are not doing at all.
"Honor your father and mother"
There are so many ways we can honor our mother and father. For one we can honor them by obeying them. We all have to think about how we would want our children to behave. I know that I would not want my children rebelling and being disobediant like we see so many children these days acting. I would want them to Honor me and obey me!
"So that you may enjoy long life on the earth"
We get awarded for obeying and honoring our parents. I truly love my parents! I know sometimes I mess up and am disobediant but everyday I try to obey and honor my mother and Father.
Collosians 3:20 says
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
One of my main goals in life is to please the Lord. If obeying my parents pleases the Lord then I am going to definantly do it. I know obeying my parents pleases not only the Lord but my parents and I want to please them in everything too.
I felt impressed to share that with yall and hopefully it speaks to yall and if you are not already honoring and obeying your parents, I hope you will start trying to!
