| Life is beautiful! The weather is fantastic and the birds are here, which makes waking up a little more pleasant. I love to hear the songs of the morning. Unfortunately, none were chirping at 03:00 hours, this morning when I had to wake. I made up for the shut eye, (or the lack thereof), by taking a good long nap this afternoon. Ah... hiatus. So what have you all been up too? I have been scatter brained this week. I feel like I must have accomplished a lot, but to look back, it's kind of doubtful. Hay, I mean straw -I've been looking into building a house. Sure, it's a little bit of a project, but it's amazingly easy and inexpensive. Here is a step by step photo workshop of a pretty neat straw house. I also think this plan for a compound is really neat, and you don't even need a building permit... My brother Luke and I are thinking about building ourselves little cottage bedrooms outside in the back yard to free up our bedrooms inside. It would be great! -At least for the summer. Tell me what you think. :) |
