Father's Day at ChurchOur pastor delivered an amazing message this morning. Specifically, he spoke to fathers about leaving a "Legacy" of love, hope, and trust. Being the father that God called them to be. His message really was for *all* parents. I was moved by his words, and reminded that I need to enter into my children's worlds more often. Being child-like and filled with laughter and wonder, letting them see the true joy that they each bring to our lives.Christopher was also moved by the message. His desire to be a good father is such a blessing. He was humble enough to admit he'd failed in some ways, just like I have, but I believe that through our humility, God will raise us up and make us better. 7:45 AM - Jun. 20, 2006 - post comment
