Yesterday we took the boys to Barnes and Noble for a ":Pirates of the Carribean" event.  They dressed up as lil pirates and went on a scavenger hunt.  Jordan won the costume contest in his age group (why oh why don't I remember my camera?).  He was so proud, and he did a great job up on the stage.  I was proud of the way he presented himself during the scavenger hunt, working diligently and taking part in the activities.  Cayden got to go on a scavenger hunt, too.  Chris led the way, and they read books and found yummy food pictures and other fun things.   All in all, a great time was had, and I was very impressed with our local bookstore.

I found Apples to Apples Jr. while we were at Barnes and Noble!  I was so excited.  I couldn't find it at the toy store, and have been wanting it.  I didn't order it online, because shippng was too high.   I also bought a new gardening book, figuring I need all the help I can get.   My gardening attempt has basically been a  failure this year, but I refuse to admit defeat!

Three little pirates

I also have three boys, and they love Pirates of the Carribean. That is really neat that the bookstore did that. Sounds like a lot of fun!
