Nature Journal: Ladybugs

At 5:36 pm, I noticed that my ladybug had seven spots on it. When I was drawing, it only had one teeny spot on the side. It hatched out of its pupa yesterday morning. We are feeding it aphids that live on baby aspen trees. The aphids love the baby aspens. The ladybug is turning red. When it hatched it was waiting to get its wings dried so that it could fly. I hope that it lays eggs soon.
Our friend, Caleb gave us two pupas. I saw them when they were larvae. The larvae curled up into pupae that stuck onto a leaf. They changed into ladybugs. When the ladybugs hatched, they were yellow and then orange in the evening.

Great Pictures!

Hi,
I'm OldFashionGirl. I was random blogging and found your site. First off, you are very talented. Keep up the pictures. I know a lot of people who will not draw with me because they say they are not good. The only way to be good at something is to practice. Because you started out now, you will always feel confident about drawing. You are a very talented girl. Keep it up!!!
