Navaho Hogan Diorama

This craft was a little bit tricky. I love this book. It has the greatest crafts in it. They are all about Indians, and I love Indians.

This is a Navaho diorama. It took me a while to make the whole thing. But the trickiest part was attaching the house to the ground.

I like this picture the most. It's a woman sewing and she has a child beside her. In the background there is a woman weaving. She has a baby beside her. You're supposed to put everything except the weaver inside the hogan, but I decided it would be way too tight for that. So I put almost the people outside the hogan.

This lady is warming her hands at the fire.  But I think she's supposed to be working. Woe to her if the chief finds out!
