Yesterday evening something happened that I have been dreading for months.  I did everything in my power to delay it, but alas some things are inevitable.  Last night my baby lost her first tooth.   

I have been telling her for weeks to quit wiggling it and maybe it will stay in there for a while, after all, she will just be starting kindergarten.  She is still so young.  But, she just couldn't help herself;  she wanted the payoff too badly. So, now the tooth fairy is $2 poorer.  And I am sad that my baby is growing up.

My six year old is wiggling her front tooth, but she has a ways to go. Wait till I tell her that the tooth fairy is paying more now these days!
