Holy Moly!!

This Article was published in HSB Friends, News and FUN Stuff

OK... I have not fallen off the face of the earth... I promise. I am going to be blogging like before.

The Suarez's just left. We had a great time!! They got in last nite around 8pm, which was so nice. We didn't have to go to bed right away like last time.
I was making dinner when they arrived. We had lasagna, green beans, zucchini, and homemade garlic bread. It was really good, til the bread caught on fire, and Auntie saved us all. She grabbed a towel and got that fire out. She was really worried. I was too busy killing mosquitoes and forgot the bread was broiling in the oven. OOPS!! I promise I do not normally burn food, Auntie.
Anyway, it turned out a great meal and we had great fellowship. I was lucky enough to be able to have Joc and Rachel clean up after dinner, since I had been in the kitchen all day.

Last nite was really special. Paulie the AWESOME, SURPRISED us all with a digital camera!! HOLY MOLY!! We were shocked. It was so nice of him to get us it. He told Auntie that he HAD to get us a camera b/c we were taking all our pics with our cell.
Its a Fujifilm FinePix F650. It has 6.0 Megapixels, 22x total zoom, 3.0inch LCD screen. The screen is huge!! I don’t think I have ever seen one that big. The flash is great. I took a pic last nite in the dim room and it looks really bright. It is SUCH a awesome camera!!
We were seriously shocked. I about fell on the floor. But that is Paulie for you. Always thinking of others.
 THANK YOU PAULIE!!
Now we can get some GOOD pics for our blogs. Instead of the phone ones.

I got up this morning early and started on breakfast. We had french toast, home fries, turkey bacon, and eggs. Yum!!  Then we cleaned up a bit and just talked for awhile.
We got to talk and spend time with Paulie, Luke, Levi, and Julia. It was so fun. I love talking to them all. The great part is that we are all so alike in many things, and there are endless things to talk about. We just have so much in common. The guys are so smart. It was nice being able to talk with them again.

Paulie did have anxiety over using our dialup computer... he was so impatient about pages loading. I guess we just got used to it.
Paulie is going to help me get a website. He had so much great advice about it. I am going to do a bunch of graphics and things. Blinkies, ecards, templates.

Luke and Eric played I don't know how many games of chess. And then they went outside for awhile and played. Rachel, Levi, Julia, Hannah, Isaac and Caleb played with them too.

The good news is that they are going to try to come back in July or so, and help us with our addition. How awesome is that?? God is good.

We had a wonderful time as always. I am glad God has brought them into our lives. They are such a great family and truly sincere. I am so thankful to God for allowing us to become great friends.

Be sure to check out the homeschool type post below. I submitted it to the Carnival of Homeschooling.

As you can see I have had a blog makeover. Chloe does a great job, huh?? I really like it.
Love,

I'm really glad I started blogging again too. Yes, you did a really good job picking out the name! Your family must have better organization skills then ours ;)

Talking about NJAO, I added you back on. Now I need a bio, and a picture from you. *BWA HA HA!*

We will come visiting soon, in July I hope. By this time though you probably know that I have no control over the traveling in our family =D

Drat! I knew I should have come to train your horses for you!!!!

The BBC DC movie is really good, but it's also really long - 180 minutes. Like Pride and Prejudice, you need an afternoon to watch it. :-)

It sounds like you had a great time with your guests. I'm so glad you got a digital camera! How nice! We'll be expecting lots of pics now. :-)

Love,
Mandy

What I Believe

I am a Biblical Believer and don’t conform to the denominations of today’s world. I am a non-fiction Believer. That means that God has already written my life story and I don’t want to change it by doing what I want, but follow it perfectly by His Word and Guidance. I will follow that plan alone. I will not make my own plans, but follow where He leads me.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and love Him as my Savior. I want to live wholly for Him and give my everything to Him.
I believe in Jesus Christ. That He is the Only Son of God. That He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father unless through Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus Christ was beaten, crucified, and rose again in three days. I believe that He died for my sins, and washed them away. I believe that He is coming back for his people some day soon.
I believe that a marriage consists of a MAN and a WOMAN. I believe that the husband should be the head of the household and that all decisions lie ultimately with him. I believe that a woman should be a keeper of her home. I believe she does not need to get a job outside of her home and out of the authority of her husband.
I believe in a full quiver, and that God will give me the desires of my heart. I believe that the woman should stay home and raise her children in the LORD.
I am praying and waiting for God to bring the man of my dreams. I can’t wait to get married and have my own family. I am excited that I can be a stay at home mom and keep my home. I want to be a Homemaker and make my home to be a haven for my family to learn to be Biblical and Godly.
I hope to be an encouragement and teach Biblical things to all who stop by my blog and be encouraged and learn from others.
