Blogger Friends School Assignment #4

This Article was published in Blogger Friend School

I have had so much fun doing the Training Hearts Blogger Friend School. Mrs. Tamara is just such a sweet, caring and awesome lady!! She is so very creative too. I mean she comes up with all the assignments. WOW!!

The Internet offers a lot of treasures! It may not be in the form of actual gold, although I’m sure some could find some on the Internet - probably on ebay! Being a Blogger Friend is all about sharing our treasures. The assignment this week is to share your Internet treasures. Below is a list featurning things that homeschooling moms might be looking for : information, support, ideas, or actual items that pertain to our lives. Each one of us holds some or all of these treasures that need to be shared. Take this list and add your “golden” treasured sites so that we may all share the wealth.

So this week we are "panning for gold". Oohh... Gold... panning for gold kinda goes with our pioneer study we are doing.

Anyway, here is Blogger Friend School Assignment #4:

A website that you visit everyday:
    My Blog

First place you look for a book to buy:
    The Old Schoolhouse Store.

Favorite Homeschool Support Area:
Uh... my favorite Mom bloggers I go to. They are listed in my right hand sidebar.

Homeschool site full of information that you use regularly:
    My Mom.

Site that you buy your new curriculum from:
We don't really have a specific site. We shop around. Our favorite stores are- Heart of Wisdom, & The Old Schoolhouse Store are the two we really like.

Site that you buy your used curriculum from:
    eBay & HomeschoolBuy.

Site that offers frugal tips to save money:
    Sprittibee.

A site that provides good wholesome recipes:
My Learning Experience... The Homesteading Carnival lol... well I like alot of the Homesteadbloggers. They have awesome recipes.

An informational site that shows you “how” to:
man, this is hard... I have no clue.

A homeschool family website that you purchase from to support them:
    Bundled In Prayer

A charity website that you support:
    I don't have one. : (

Favorite Graphic site to get graphics for your blog or other things:
Paulie, Jed, and Eric. Custom made graphic makers!! altho I am hoping to get some college classes and a program so I can make my own.

Site that offers an educational calendar listing important historical events and also to keep you informed on upcoming events. (ex: Fire Safey Week):
I don't have one. But that is a good site to find. So I am going to find one!!

Site that offers Homeschool Freebies:
    HomeschoolEstore & FreeStuffForHomeschoolers.

Site that offers any kind of Freebies:
    DixonContestBlog & CuriousCat.

A blog to read that is always full of humor:
    drewsfamilytx & Titus2woman.

A blog to read that is always full of useful information:
HSBCompanyBlog, Home Where They Belong, HeartnSoul, & Mrs. Hanley.

A blog to visit because it is eye appealing and easy to read:
The Perils of Parenting and Other Ponderings. Auntie Christina is just such a great read. She shares her trials and her happiness. Love you!!
Trust In The Lord. Amber has a BEAUTIFUL blog and she always has something awesome to read!!

A blog that you read because it inspires you to be a better homeschooling mom:
Hmm... As I am not a homeschooling mama yet, I don't know about one that inspires me to a better homeschooling mom, but there are so many mom blogs I love to read that have alot of great information and they do give me ideas that I will use when I am a homeschooling mama.
Some of them are: DevDoorDeborah, JilllNovak, Pattycake, SimpleFolk Homeschool and of course MOM!!

A site that you would allow your children to visit:
Hmm.... no children, but being a child I am allowed to visit sites that pertain to my blog.

List any other sites that you would like to share that have provided you with a wealth of golden information:
Oh boy, I have no clue. Any other blogs that I go to.

This is not a good assignment for me. I have absolutely no clue what to put for some of these. Oh man, that was alot harder than the ABC's. I don't do alot of this stuff, Mom does. Well, you all best go over to Mom's blog, cause she's got gold coming out her ears about this sort of stuff!! lol.
Ok... off to get my extra credit. I hit 5 people last week, which is half, so hopefully I can reach the full 10 this week!!

As Always,

I just read about your birthday, and oh how I wish I could come. My mom has decided to move us on October 25th, so I can't come to your birthday and meet you. It would have been so much fun. I hope you have a wonderful birthday, I will be thinking of you. Maybe someday we will be able to meet IRL. Ciao, Sara

LOL No, I can't come. We don't do much traveling, and Mama and I have plans to go to a Casting Crowns concert, which is on the 27th. Thank you for thinking of me though!

I'm happy with how my blog turned out. I think I'll leave it that way for awhile.

Blessings,
Becca

You did a "super" job trying to complete the assignment. I agree...it probably isn't the easiest one to write when you are the one being homeschooled as opposed to the one doing the background research on homeschooling and home management. Thanks for sharing your golden nuggets.

My dear Amanda,

I am afraid I cannot agree with you about not wanting to be labeled. I agree that I do not want any worldly labels, but I do want to be "godly" and I do not ever want to grow out of being that way. I always want to be like Christ. You wrote a great post though. I always enjoy your blog.

Love,
Rebekah

I love the new background. Very "eye catching". :)

Yeah I am doing alot better now. Thank you so much for your prayers! :)

I have a little problem with actually accepting the eyeing and judging by other teen girls no matter what. Ya know? It's one of the many traits of Julia Nicole Wall that I wish to change. I wish to just be satisfied with being me. Does this make sense?

I guess I get so frustrated because I am like 'You don't even know me and yet you judge me with a single look'. I want people to stop thinking I am just like the worlds teens. I am not. I was telling Jocelyn that I don't want a boyfriend. But being sixteen everyone (including church members) believe I am just like the worlds teens in that 'OHhhh.. I'm sixteen I need a boyfriend to love me forever'. HA! I am not stupid, you can't be in love at 16 yet everyone thinks I think that way..

Ok.. Thanks for listening to me complain :P

Love
Julia

What I Believe

I am a Biblical Believer and don’t conform to the denominations of today’s world. I am a non-fiction Believer. That means that God has already written my life story and I don’t want to change it by doing what I want, but follow it perfectly by His Word and Guidance. I will follow that plan alone. I will not make my own plans, but follow where He leads me.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and love Him as my Savior. I want to live wholly for Him and give my everything to Him.
I believe in Jesus Christ. That He is the Only Son of God. That He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father unless through Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus Christ was beaten, crucified, and rose again in three days. I believe that He died for my sins, and washed them away. I believe that He is coming back for his people some day soon.
I believe that a marriage consists of a MAN and a WOMAN. I believe that the husband should be the head of the household and that all decisions lie ultimately with him. I believe that a woman should be a keeper of her home. I believe she does not need to get a job outside of her home and out of the authority of her husband.
I believe in a full quiver, and that God will give me the desires of my heart. I believe that the woman should stay home and raise her children in the LORD.
I am praying and waiting for God to bring the man of my dreams. I can’t wait to get married and have my own family. I am excited that I can be a stay at home mom and keep my home. I want to be a Homemaker and make my home to be a haven for my family to learn to be Biblical and Godly.
I hope to be an encouragement and teach Biblical things to all who stop by my blog and be encouraged and learn from others.
