Houston: Free Hurricane Workshop with Kids area

Admission is free
Bring the entire family to The National Weather Service Houston/Galveston
2008 Hurricane Workshop on Sat., June 7. There will be something for
everyone.
This year's Kid Zone will feature:
12-4pm
* An appearance from Radio Disney including live performances,
Disney-themed prizes, games, contests and the Kid Safe ID Program
* Disaster activity books
* A scavenger hunt with hurricane preparedness questions
* Door prizes
* Hurricane safety poster contest
There will also be fun exhibits with hands-on activities at every booth,
including The Weather Museum, Girl Scouts of America, Mad Science of
Houston, The Houston Zoo and more!
