Public Schools or Pagan Schools? Joel Turtel Explains
Besides the usual course of subjects taught in public shool, they also teach students how to serve self, nature, and false gods. They teach that morality is entirely up to the individual. They also ask that what they teach be kept a secret. They teach about anything but Christianity or when they do it is to teach that Christians have always been in the wrong.
They give students false hope in special rocks and special chants. They teach religion, something the public schools have said over and over again they can't teach. Joel Turtel has written about the religions that public schools do teach on a very regular basis. It's fascinating and scary all at the same time.
If you have children in pubilc school you need to find out just what it is they are learning. It's one thing to know that they bring home papers that show they are learning about Native Americans. It's another to know what is being taught in the classroom.

that christian parents miss when their children go to a "good" public school or have a "good teacher".
Public schools, by nature, are created in a way that it causes children of any age to focus on themselves rather than the family or anyone else, especially God. It puts all emphasis on their knowledge, their abilities... and in this day and age, because we have to be so worried about hurting little Susie's feelings, we even have to allow them to focus on their lack of abilities in sports or their grades. Wouldn't want them to strive to be better and think of others first and be proud that someone else came in first or got a better grade.
Teaching these false religions is just an extension of putting self first.
I know the line in the movie Chronicles of Narnia, which is taken from the book is not meant in this manner, but when are parents going to actually ask themselves, "What do they teach in school these days, anyway?"
And, don't get me started on the rest of the reasons to keep children home.
How many of these posts have to be written before christian parents see the truth in them? The public schools were created to educate a society for the purpose of the goals of that society... Do you want your children educated in the goals of our society today?
Don't we as God's people have enough of a challenge living our lives in Him without all the added stuff our children learn in a Godless (or maybe, rather, a mulit-god-filled) classroom?

I already have a start-up bag for Sus... it's an early birthday gift, so don't even think about paying me for it - anyway, I just need to know what color album you want. I looked for the sage one, but I can't find one. I have all the supplies we need to get started.
I was going to send it to you so you and Julie could get started on it, but I didn't know if that's what you want to do!
I'll be happy to start it, and you and Jules can add other pages, but you need to let me know that and if you see an album on the CM website you'd like to have. If not, we can still get the pages started and have them ready to just put the pictures in after Sus arrives and pick out an album then.
You are welcome to pick out anything, and I will get it into her album, too.If you see any paper or stickers you like, just let me know, ok??
