Home-keeping hearts are happiest,
For those that wander they know not where

Freebie Finder - Cake Decorating
Since I posted here about the new Basic Cake Decorating DVDat the Schoolhouse Store. So today I thought I would share with you my family’s FAVORITE website for cake decorating ideas.
FamilyFun.com has an excellent section of their website with all kinds of fun ideas to make cakes and cupcakes. The thing we love about these ideas is that you won’t have to have any fancy cake pans or special equipment to make them.We have made several and gotten amazing results!
Here are the directions we used to make this sleepover cake.
Here are the directions we used to make my daughters castle cake.
Here are the directions we used for the shirt cake we made for dad.
These were all fun and easy to make and the kids were proud of their creations. I know we will be making a lot more of these in the future.

Disclosure:
I am the co-publisher of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine. All content on my blog, however, is made up of my own opinions and the Home Where They Belong team. The team and I are never paid to blog something for a company or individual with a message they wish to get out in one of our posts. Even my "pick of the week" section is simply a "show and tell" area in the blog which allows me to share resources I come across. Some however, are items included in The Old Schoolhouse Magazine's online shopping cart, which profits the company and specifically, myself. None of these companies have paid me to feature them in this section, nor do I expect them to advertise on any of our websites, enewsletters or the print magazine in return. Any questions? Gena@TheHomeschoolMagazine.com is where I can be reached.
