Apr. 18, 2006 - Someone besides me
Some times I am so self absorbed. It is like am dancing around sing It's all about me over and over again. Cause if I don't get to do something I was setting my heart on I mope. Though I know I am not the first one to do this and I am not the last
I still know that I was wasting time. Life isn't about just me.
Life is about all of thing alive. That means sometime I need to step back and look at the big picture. I need to think about someone besides myself.
If I took time and consitrated on how to make life better for my siblings.
If I took time to do something special for my mom.
If it was Coloring a picture or making her an oragami something or another.
I can tell you my time would be much better spent then at moping.
When I am mopy I need to step back and take a look open my eyes.
There are other people who are upset about something a lot more serious then missing there sleep over. Yet they are the ones passed by.
Sometimes on perpose sometimes not. Still they're problems are ignored while someone who is pouting about missing not getting to do something is comforted.
I and many other people need to think about others like the bible says to do.
I mean we are supposed to be like God.
Eph 4:24* And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
And God thought about others so much that he sacrificed his only begotten son.
Joh 3:16* For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Now if he is so willing to give up his son shouldn't we be willing to give up selfish thoughts? Shouldn't we consintrate on others first ?
We should all be thinking I need to worry about someone besides me.
When you helpe someone else then ofter your wories seem so much smaller.
So on that note. If anyone needs prayer I would be happy to pray for you.

my favorite verse is John 3:16. it is in man's nature to be selfish and self-centered but as we pray and seek out God, His way becomes our way. Great blog.
