Apologies and Q&A
Posted on Nov. 24, 2007 at 4:35 PM in Rambling thoughts - Leave a Note
First of all I would like to apologize especially to Rachel, Jocelyn, Arya, Sylvia, Rose (from Rellamom) and anyone else who I have seemingly ignored for not returning comments. Our family’s DSL (our internet access) is broken and works so very slowly that I have great difficulty opening any blogs from HSB. I thank you all for your comments and please know that I am not ignoring you.
Q&A:
After my last post I was asked a few follow up questions. First I received the following question from Sylvia: “It was good to read your answer to Mary. I have another question to add: do you plan on doing distance learning to earn a college degree?” then this one from Amanda: “I like your answer to Mary too!! I was wondering what you will be doing for college also. I would like to take some classes at the local college here. What do you plan to do if anything!!”
Well the answer is no I have no plans to do distance learning to earn a college degree. I have no reason to earn a college degree and therefore do not plan to do so. After I graduate I plan to continue to study at home. I will be doing a lot of reading and writing. Maybe some more Science for fun. Hopefully I will be studying languages too. I would love to learn Hebrew and Greek as well as Spanish and Sign Language. More importantly then these I will plan to learn to be a Keeper At Home so that someday LORD willing I will be a good helpmeet to the man the LORD brings me. Most importantly however after I graduate I hope to study God’s Word even more than I do now and learn to know HIM better as a result.
To the LORD be all glory, honor and praise!

Thanks for answering my question. :-) It sounds like you have a good plan. I'm glad that you're going to continue studying after high school. Learning never stops, and especially learning from God's Word!!

Ok so this is an old post, but I haven't seen it. (shows you what a good friend I am!)... anyhow, I agree with you on the whole college thing. I was looking in the Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary and the meaning of college was a society of men who are seeking employment. If the Bible says women are to be at home and a young lady has no intention of having a job... why does she need college? It puzzles me! lol
I wanted to wish you a HAPPY NEW and BLESSED YEARs! May it be filled with joyful times!
Blessings!
