Greetings from the eastern forest of Belgar,

 Alasse and her hobbit friend, Colyan Took of Westmarch were visiting with the human girl Harley. They were out playing in the forest and decided to swing on the big orange swing. Colyan and Harley were sitting on the swing and Alasse was twisting it, running around and around, twisting it up high. Then all of a sudden, there was a loud snapping…and then….the swing came crashing down on Colyan and Harley!! It was terrifying for Alasse, who was twisting the swing, when her friends went tumbling down to the lush green grass of the forest, all tangled up in the ropes of the swing. Alasse was laying flat on her back spinning around and around on it just moments before that! If she was doing that when the swing came down, she would have been killed!!

Nevertheless, the thing was, right after the swing fell; Alasse looked up in the tree and saw a little chocolate doughnut sneaking away into the branches. (nasty doughnuts!) Therefore, it was not Alasse’s fault as she thought it was!

Then later on that evening, Alasse decided to make popcorn for Harley and Colyan. So she took out her Elvin corn-popping device and stared to pop away. Harley wanted to help, so Alasse told her what to do. Soon the smells of delicious popcorn wafted in the air. When it was done, Alasse took the container with the beautiful popcorn nestled and steaming inside, off the corn-popping device. All of a sudden…POOF….flames starting reaching high into the air. Harley let out a screech as Alasse tried blowing the flames out. However, that only made them climb higher! What to do?!? What to dooo!!?!?!? Alasse made a mad dive for the plug-in and yanked the plug out of the socket! Finally, the flames slowly started to reseed. Alasse gasped with relief! So, they were not to be all burnt up this time!
